Wow!! (But not a good "Wow"). I visited Sweet William for the first time based on recommendations from two friends. When I arrived, there were three employees in the store. I was the only customer. I was dressed nicely but not dressed-up. I am a firm believer that one need not "dress up" to go shopping. One woman who, I think is the owner, said "hi" to me but nothing more than that. Not one of the employees ever asked me if I needed help or what I was looking for. While I was looking around the three of them stood in the middle of the store chatting. My guess is based on what I was wearing (again, nice) likely made them deduce that I couldn't afford their clothing, nor was I the right clientele. Guess what? I could more than afford that store. I have bought many of the brands they carry from other stores. My husband and I have a HHI that I predict is well beyond any of their's including the owner's. That, however, should not matter. How unfortunate it is when people judge others so harshly and wrongly. Shame on all three of you women who were in the store today, August 3rd at approximately 2:30. My husband and I recently moved from the Gold Coast downtown. I can tell you employees at the stores on Oak St. (far nicer than Sweet William) were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. So many customer reviews say how nicely they were greeted; how helpful the staff is; great personal service etc. The staff I WAS NOT greeted by today was unfriendly and the epitome of snobby.

The rudest sales clerk that I have every encountered in a shop- worst experience I have every had. Will tell my friends to boycott this store.

Love love love this store. Everyone knows your name. They know what will look good on you and what you like. They keep you informed of what they have that might work for you. All of the clothes are unique and beautiful. You won't see yourself duplicated anywhere else and you will feel beautiful and special in your clothes. I believe their motto is "love your clothes" And they truly make that happen for you

Like any guy, shopping for clothes for my wife is a scary thing. The wonderful Sweet William staff made the experience pretty enjoyable. The know their stuff and most importantly, my wife loved her clothes! I'd recommend to anyone.
