  We had an excellent experience with a home addition completed by Normandy. They handled everything and job was completed to an extremely high quality standard as opposed to a side job that someone squeezed in. Excellent design services and our project manager Mike K did an awesome job keeping us informed and keeping the job on track. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

  I am long overdue for this review! My sincere apologies to Maury Jones who has been more than patient waiting for me to boast about my FABULOUS experience with Normandy Remodeling. And...boast, I must!I had a vision (at least I thought I did) about adding an 'outdoor' addition to my home. Maury Jones (designer) worked side-by-side with me through multiple designs until we got it right, together. While he had recommendations, he did not dismiss my wish-list items and tried his best to find every option available to make our collective vision come to life.My new outdoor 300 square foot addition is inclusive of a luxurious stamped concrete 'rustic hardwood' foundation, vaulted ceiling with faux beams, large screen panels (so I can enjoy my view), custom stone knee wall, new patio door, lighting/ceiling fan and even speakers! Every inch of Normandy's craftsmanship was executed to perfection!If you are looking to enhance the beauty of your home, call Maury at Normandy! Every time I walk by the doorway of my new addition, I love it more every day. I could not be happier, and I cannot wait to use it this coming season!

  We recently remodeled our kitchen with Normandy Remodeling. From the start, our Designer, Laura Barber was committed to understanding our goals and the style we were looking to obtain. She listened carefully in our conversations and was always on hand to help us find the materials and finishes we were looking for while presenting options for our consideration that she thought might get us closer to our vision. She stayed with us through the whole project and was always available to help when we had questions or concerns. Our Superintendent, Bill Thomas, emailed us every day with an update on work to be completed in the next days with notice if there was a change in schedule. Our project was completed on time, on budget and to the promised quality standard.

  Wow!! Our home has become the best use of space for our family. Our home is an older home, and the spaces were not functional for us. Racquel and Leslie helped us design, not only the best use of the space we have, but it is beautiful. Bill, our Superintendent, was easy to work with and helped us navigate the time during construction. The contractors that were used were clean and the work was done well. We have been using our new spaces for a month and love it even more than when we saw the designs in the office. We highly recommend using the Normandy Remodeling team.

  Our project was to completely remodel the kitchen of our Downers Grove house. We shopped around quite a bit across the well established builders in the suburbs of Chicagoland area. We decided to go with Normandy Builders and we couldnt have been happier with the overall experience - from design to completion and post completion support! Our designer, Bryan Brisky, was one of the reasons my wife leaned towards Normandy, she felt very comfortable with the relationship she built and the straight forward and well established grounding the designer brought in to our project. The overall vision my wife had for the project was quite different and part of creativity was successful because of the insight Bryan provided. He not only listened to what my wife wanted, but also provided fiscally responsible decision points that helped us ensure we didnt go over/above what we should spend (bang for buck). Once the project kicked off, one of the best things that happened to us was we were assigned Chris Tomko. He truly was the most amazing person outside of our designer from Normandy that made the process completely seamless. Case in point, we had a pre-planned vacation for a week and Chris was checking in daily with the progress of our project as he normally did but was very extra involved to ensure we werent nervous all while construciton was ongoing during our vacation. There were several timelines within our project that were hit right on the time as planned, if not earlier, all while supply issues happened - Normandy has a very good reputation and flex with their vendors so it was good to get proper results even when things didnt go well since they made things right. Example, some of our cabinetry wasnt fully perfect, minor flaws but they re-ordered and replaced them. Our project entailed several plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc. milestones and Normandy worked seamlessly with the village permit department and pre-post inspection approvals. During construction there were no problems, at all, Normady fixed any issues as needed that impacted our existing house if anything happened. Example, we had a minor drywall scrape and they fixed it. Of course, we paid as part of our fees the use of air filters, coverings for furniture, close out of rooms so dust doesnt go to those rooms, etc but we definately GOT WHAT WE PAID FOR in the end. My project also included adding a new sub-panel in my basement for electricity for my higher grade appliances, new coffee station with built in cabinetry, bigger exaust output and input for air, electric car supply to my garage via basement. Normandy continues to ensure quality is of utmost improtance - backed by 5 years of warranty for workmanship. I had them stop by to re-caulk the kitchen area and they are very good at just standing behind their work. Yes, it was a bit more than other builders but i was happy parting away with a small percentage extra because it turned out to be the best way to put my money to work. Had I gone with other bigger builders or smaller ones, I am not sure if I would be given attention AFTER THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED!   Highly recommend! Our designer, Abby, completely understood us and helped design the exact kitchen we envisioned. Her patience as we made modifications was so wonderful and her eye for design is spot on. Our project manager, Larry, communicated progress every evening and kept us fully informed each step of the way. Our full kitchen/dining room project took about 4 months (as projected). I have nothing but good things to say about Normandy and looking forward to working with them again on our next project!

  I have only great things to say working with Normandy, and specifically Abby and Bruce, for our kitchen re-design. Abby was incredible with the design (and an incredibly nice person too!) and kept things super easy for me, making our design meetings a breeze. She was also excellent at keeping us close to budget while not compromising the look or feel at ALL. Our contractor, Bruce, kept things moving and kept us updated throughout the process. He was easy to get ahold of for questions and was always checking in. Our kitchen is complete and it's everything we could have wanted! Would recommend Normandy again and again.

  Normandy has done two projects for us-- kitchen and porch. Not cheap, but very well done with great attention to detail and customer service. And the ********************** work was top-notch with careful effort to do what we wanted, what looked good and what made sense. And when something didn't quite fit, they figured it out in a way that satisfied technically, code-wise, design-wise and cost-wise. Love these guys.

  We hired Normandy for our kitchen remodel. Working with our designer, Laura Barber, was the highlight of the experience. She brought vision and experience that was invaluable to our project. Our kitchen turned out beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. With any remodel of a 60's home, there are always unforeseen snags, and Normandy was responsive and helped solve the problems in an efficient and cost conscious manner. We used multiple other contractors on other parts of our house, and the experience with Normandy was far more positive than with the others. We will definitely be using them for other projects.

  Have used Normandy for both a master bath and kitchen remodel. Was great working with their designers (***** and ******) and project manager (****). Everything is explained, detailed plans, detailed timeline. They coordinate all the craftsman and permits, etc. Designers listened to my wants and needs and had great suggestions.
