I switched to Ryan Hickel this year from my California CPA, and I couldn't be happier.
Ryan is always available to answer questions, he works well with my financial advisor, to strategize and effectively game plan on what's best for me. Infact the 2 of them have an open line of communication. Ryan is efficient and spots out issues I need to resolve, or be aware of, and timely takes care of business. Hickel CPA was great. They helped me with my brother's estate. He lived in Illinois and I live in Iowa. They helped me navigate all the investment and tax issues. We did everything virtually I never even met them face to face. They have a great and helpful staff that answered all my questions and concerns.

Ryan and staff were very helpful and responsive. Their app is very well designed and easy to use and secure for tax documentation. The cost was very competitive with other agencies and Ryan was more attentive and knowledgeable than H&R Block. I will definitely use them again for my tax filing purposes.

I've been working with Hickel CPA for over 20 years as both a small business owner and an individual tax payer. I originally hired Jeff and trusted his expertise and professionalism. In time he brought his son Ryan into the business, and while I am sorry to no longer work with Jeff, I knew they would work to make the transition seamless. Having just completed my first tax cycle with Ryan I can say they have succeeded beyond my expectations. Yes things are different as Ryan has brought in new technology and systems, but the entire process was painless and professional.
