200 S Mannheim Rd, Hillside“Didn't have any problems. I accidentally left a very important box in the room and the front desk person was very helpful found it and got it shipped out to me very fast with no problems.”
“This is one amazing place! The owner and all her heloer artists were incredible. Very helpful and knowledgeable, always available to help or just answer a question.
This was our first time here and at the end of the day we had all agreed that its our go to painting place!
We were here for the sloth party, such a wonderful experience”
“Nice food selection. Some of the hot food was cold but I blame that on inconsiderate customers who don't close the warming trays after retrieving their portions. The serving staff was very attentive and prompt with serving us.”
11AM - 6PM
200 E Lake St, Addison“Very nice staff. We have our event once a year and they're always very attentive and have everything ready for the event to run smoothly. The coffee they put out Is delicious.”
“Absolutely incredible experience. Hosted my son’s 10th bday here with his friends. The hosts couldn’t have been easier to work with and it is by far the CLEANEST kids place (arcade/laser tag/ etc) place we’ve ever been to. The rates were fair and the kids had a blast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”
“Wonderful, clean location. Took my daughter for her first time bowling and they made her day very memorable. Food was hot, quick and delicious. Will definitely come again.”

5555 N River Rd, Rosemont“I go to car related events .This place has improved with the world of wheels over the years. I still miss the lowrider hopping contest they used to have when it was at Mccormick Place. Maybe one day they'll bring that back”

617 N York St, Elmhurst“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”

178 Forest Ave #1, Oak Park“The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association has captured a period in time and preserved it beautifully. The antique furnishings make it the perfect venue for a romantic wedding reception.”
“Great spot! Took some amazing photographs at this location. The trees make this place look splendid and magical. These photos are from a traditional Ethiopian wedding.”
“What a great time for my Grandson’s birthday! He turned 5 and loved it. They couldn’t have been nicer to all of the family who also enjoyed it too. Aunts, Uncles, cousins and of course Grandmas and Grandpa.”
“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Carlisle in November of 2023. As most people, we looked at multiple venues to select the best one for our special day. After visiting several locations, we went to The Carlisle and from the moment we entered we knew this was the one. The Carlisle is very elegant with a lot of mirrors and crystal chandeliers and after meeting with the event planner we were sold. Laura Papa was welcoming, professional and explained everything clearly. She answered all our questions with great detail and made suggestions, but never tried to upsell us. We had found the perfect place for our wedding! Every time we met with Laura, we became more sure that the Carlisle was superior to all other venues. My husband to be, wanted the evening to be magical for me and magical it was! Laura and the staff at the Carlisle were phenomenal. They listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We highly recommend The Carlisle to anyone looking for an elegant, well-run establishment to host any event. There are many venues to choose from in the Chicagoland area ,but if you are looking for a perfect experience, The Carlisle is the best choice hands down.”

5200 Pearl St, Rosemont“Good place to stay if you think about proximity to tge airport, convention centre, surrounded by places to shop and have fun. However, i found that it is overpriced and theIn-room dinning service was underwhelming. Was shocked when housekeeping opened the door without knocking and didn't offer an apology 3 hours before checkout.”
“Playground: There are 2 playgrounds
Toilets: The women's restroom is very clean.
Dog-friendliness: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at this park.
Picnic area: There's a small picnic area by the baseball field.”
“Very clean banquet hall and washrooms, beautiful decor, great customer service. Food was good. Food presentation beautiful. The Prime Rib was tender but a little bland. Drinks were very weak. I would attend or host an event there again.”
“We had a small gathering here at the gallery for an event unrelated to the usual art happenings in the gallery. This is space that serves for community and creativity. The exhibitions are vibrant. The gallery staff and art itself engage the patrons at every event.”
10AM - 2PM
1000 Wellington Ave, Elk Grove Village“This is so much fun for younger ones who love to climb. Your child would have to be able to get by without your direct assistance for most of the attractions. Only open weekday mornings till 2 .”
“Awesome place. They hosted a fight tonight and me and my team competed. I love the old school vibe. It felt real. I'm tired of all these new high tech places. This felt like I was in a rocky movie. Real and original. The ppl running the food bar were so friendly. They gave us a free bottle of water for our fighter and were just supportive to our needs all night. Thank you.”
“This place really took me by surprise. It was clean, owner friendly, 2 floors if needed and great location. I just celebrated my mothers 70th birthday and will definitely recommend this place to anyone.”
10AM - 5PM
2300 Mannheim Rd, Des Plaines“Extremely well run operation. Owners are hands-on and micromanaging which exactly what you want to see when you spend a lot of money on a special occasion. Food was excellent and hot. Service was stellar, especially George in the bar who is all class. They knocked it out of the park door my fathers 80th. Highly recommend”
“One of the main reasons I moved to Elmhurst. The commitment to local talent and creative youth is a hallmark of our community. EAM features diverse, progressive and very talented artists”
“Sokol is so cool. I was a member of Sokol Tabor when I was a kid. My mother in law has always been in Sokol her whole life. My kids will be entering tumbling tots come registration period. It's a family fitness gym, activities include: competetive volleyball, gymnastics, calisthenics, dance and more. I camped at Sokol camp as a youth in upstate New York. You make life long friends, memories and connections through this amazing orginization. Czech it out ;)”
“From mom and baby meet up, to story time with Elsa, to hosting/attending birthday parties, Waterlemon is the spot! It’s a super cute boutique for the kids to play but also for moms to hang out. I had my daughter’s second birthday party here and it was so easy and the staff were so helpful! I’ve bought my daughter the cutest tutus, books, and toys so if you just want to go stop in and shop, they have the cutest gift options.”
“We visited here as it was on the Frank Lloyd Wright map, and although he wasn't the architect, we were still interested to see the work of one of his contemporaries. We were greeted by Theresa, who took us on a tour of the whole house which lasted around an hour and a half. Theresa was so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to meet and be guided by her. She was so knowledgeable about the house and the families who had lived there, and my partner and I walked away feeling like we had learned so much. The house itself is full of surprises and interesting quirks, and Theresa did a brilliant job of bringing it to life for us. We absolutely loved our time there, but also feel sad that a house of such historical importance isn't receiving the funding needed to fully restore it. I really recommend taking this tour, as not only will you enjoy learning about this amazing house, you will also be helping to preserve its place in history.”
“Edit: Adjusting my rating since the security was not yours. Appreciate the response. Look forward to visiting again.Great DJs, excellent bartenders and awesome environment, but it was entirely eclipsed by security. My only ask is they try to be a bit more welcoming and to brush off those hospitality skills a bit. Thank you for providing a venue close to the stadium for afterparties, it saved us a lot of time and money from having to Uber into the city each night.”
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
900 South La Grange Road, La Grange“I attended an event at this establishment and it was nice and roomy. The restroom was clean and there was plenty of room in the hall for 50 or more people. The staff were nice and very helpful, too.”
“I attended a special event at the Mansion with Geoffrey Baer for WTTW. The place is very cool. Some of the rooms have been restored to their original furnishings and some are bare. The library, chapel, and hidden staircase are highlights of the mansion. The weather was not good for outdoor activities on the day of my visit, but the grounds are nice and would make a great place for a walk on a nice day.”
“If you're seeking an outstanding venue for your next event, you've found it! I'm truly grateful and impressed by Nadia and Nick. Their attention to detail, from decor to setup, and their impeccable service throughout the event made our experience flawless. I couldn't be more appreciative.Nadia and Nick are diligent partners! Rest assured, your event is in excellent hands with them.”
