Worst experience ever. Shipped and reserved a car. Over 3 weeks and still no car. Delivery date was 10 days ago and I've had to call multiple times to just get fed lies and that it'll be ready in a few days. Demanded refund and this is a scam as far as I am concerned.

I've used CarMax twice now to sell my car, and each time has been incredibly smooth. Their online quote was quite accurate both times; the first time we got a bit more than expected, and the second time matched the estimate. I'll definitely be using their service again! I highly recommend!

My CarMax experience was fantastic. I have already begun to tell friends that this is the way to go. I feel that the emails I received after my offer were a little misleading as far as how long it would take once I got to the CarMax location, but the customer service was so fantastic It makes up for that minor disappointment. I also feel I got a very fair price for my car.

Paid for a car to be shipped and reserved to Hillside! Low and behold, the car was delayed upon arrival due to inspection. Sure that's fine, so by contacting the virtual assistant the same week it was estimated to be ready-- surprise, surprise. It wasn't ready! So after reaching out directly to figure out the availability of the car, a whopping one single phone call was placed to the number on file during normal work hours for almost any adult. No voice mail, no texts were sent, and no email correspondence.
With no clear communication from CarMax-- the car was reserved for someone else. What an unprofessional waste of time and money. If only I could give a 0 star review!

I used to LOOOVE this CarMax but it has gone downhill in service so drastically lately and almost all the employees were quite ineffective (and a little rude, if I may add). I'll explain.
I scheduled an appointment for my car to be dropped off on Thursday, June 18 and it is now July 1. They literally JUST found it today sitting in their parking lot for almost two weeks. I called in literally almost every day and they told me they could not find it. For two weeks, until I myself had to come and show the employees where my car was in their parking lot.
Funniest part, then the "Sweet" little employee named Angel tells me that "they can take a look at it but it'll be all out of my pocket."
Enough said, never going back there.
