“This was the best experience working with Mike. I had a few designer pieces and wanted to get more value for them besides weight. I was pleasantly surprised at his quote. I also sent scrap items. It was very nice working with someone that actually does what they say. I was sent a lable for 2 day shipping. Once received I was given the quote and paid same day. I live out of state and did a little research on who has a market for what I was selling. This worked so well for me. Takes away going shop to shop to see what local jewlers will offer you. I will continue to work with Mike from here on out. I highly encourage anyone that is a little nervous about shipping items, to try it. I texted Mike to let him know when it shipped and that I saw it had been delivered. He responds and gave a time that he would let me know about each item. Again, went so much better than expected. Also, can't say I would have trusted the process and them with my Diamond ring. I inquired another jewelry store that is very well-known and they also wanted an arm and a leg and a big toe. Again the price was more than what I was willing to pay. It felt as if these people were intentionally overcharging me. I decided to call TC Jewelry and went in the store with my ring in hand. The boss man analyzed my ring, gave me a price and told me that it would be done soon. It was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed giving this store owner business. And the jewelry they have on display is absolutely beautiful. The owner actually introduced me to a son who was very knowledgeable, polite, and I'll tell you they have this beautiful multicolor Ruby necklace that was just absolutely gorgeous. “I'm tough to surprise with gifts because I usually have an idea of exactly what I want. I must have mentioned when getting ready one day that I could use more casual bracelets and my husband took that has a hint (even though it wasn't intentional) to get me one for my bday. He found Glenview Jewelers (thanks Yelp) and purchased a lovely bracelet that can be worn and all times- day and night. When I first tried it on it was huge so I went back to the jeweler to get it fitted. The very sweet woman who was in the store seemed excited to meet me after mentioning she had helped my husband pick out the bracelet. They said it would take about a week to fix and would call me when it was ready. I did a little browsing of my own while in there and they have such beautiful jewelry that I can imagine it was difficult to choose one thing. When my bracelet was ready I went to pick it up twice and both times the store was closed, even though it was during their typical opening hours. It was a little annoying since it's at least a 20 minute drive to my house. I stopped by a third time when in the area and the third time was the charm because it was ready for me. It fit perfectly and I've enjoyed wearing it ever since!”
