“I was in a massive hurry to a wedding and completely forgot to pack my cufflinks! The folks here were able to help me, having some cufflinks out for me to select from and helping me move quickly. My only regret is I couldn’t stay longer since the folks are incredibly nice. Would love to go back again since the selection looks incredible!”

“We had two items one mid century modern chair that was broke in 3 places and a king bed we purchased online from a consignment store that had been painted over beautiful cherry. We found Mark online and he was able to pick up and deliver. His pricing to fix chair and refinish bed was far cheaper than we anticipated. Had both items done in less than a couple weeks and the job he did was phenomenal. Highly recommend.”

“Besides being a supreme craftsman, Ray is a purveyor of marvelous oddities like the recycled-aluminum creatures--flamingoes, penguins, pigs, roosters--that I've collected over the years. These all-weather friends "hide" in plain sight, peeking out from behind trees & shrubs, delighting toddlers, amusing passersby. Yesterday as I turned onto Ridge in Wilmette, a green dinosaur in front of Ray's shop flagged me down & asked where I've been! He & his brilliant friends, peacock & owl, made me laugh--& for a moment I forgot about Covid 19, my husband's stroke, the war in Ukraine, global warming. Who could resist that? And so our menagerie grows--in size & popularity. Thanks to Ray”
