As tax season approaches. Reminder DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! My taxes were a mess for 4 years. Filed in the WRONG state. I had the irs constantly contacting me to pay in a state I never worked at. Attorney had to be brought in.

They did my daughter's taxes last year and she still hasn't received her refund, so don't even know if they actually filed them. Her boyfriend went there also and didn't receive any of the copies of his tax return that you are supposed to get. Poor business practice. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I have used Bonnie for my 13th season in a row and she always lessens my tax burden, while not getting me in trouble with the IRS. Granted, they aren't always easy to reach by phone, but they aren't H&R block with 100 employees in a typical 9-5 work environment year round either. I won't use anyone else while they are around and I have never lived in Illinois.

My advice go somewhere else.. Do not use this business.. They do not return calls, they don't give you copies of your tax returns unless you request them which by law once you complete the taxes with them they are suppose too but never got a call or a copy sent to me once they were completed and they don't call when they need more infomation so then they file an extension and you dont know this was all going on, the office is trashy, with candy wrappers under the desk.. would not care if they went under.

No call backs. No paperwork given back. Don't hear anything from the office but we SURE did hear from the IRS! Please be careful and do your research.

Waiting weeks for a callback because we are being audited. Need a simple W2-S filled out from a past tax. Tried calling every few days. Sending messages thru FB. They won't even respond back. Good service when used but zero follow thru or support of their own product so beware and look elsewhere for quality.

In one word.....Incredible! The absolute most knowledgeable tax service I have ever used and I have used several all over the country. If you think you're going to get a refund you can bet you will get every penny you are entitled to. If you think you're going to have to pay any penalties you can bet you will not be paying any more than you absolutely have to. We've been using Bonnie's services for over ten years and cannot imagine going anywhere else for our tax needs. Even if you don't live near-by she is definitely worth getting in touch with. You won't be sorry!

Two years ago when I started going to Haller’s I was told because my taxes are simple it would be about $50. I asked for a receipt but was told I could not get one until my taxes were completed. To make a long story short, I asked for a receit a dozen times, but never got one. I went to them again to do my taxes this year, but said I would not sign anything until I had a receipt in my hand: $500! For that price I would have done them myself. She just kept saying that was a discount and I am lucky she didn’t charge more. They are careful to not give you anything in writing about their prices.
