“If I could, I would give Upscale Rummage 10 stars! This place is truly amazing. Do you love thrifting? Do you think you've got your thrifting routine all worked out? Do you think you've got your line up of unmissable Chicago thrifts sorted? You are wrong... unless you've already been to Upscale Rummage already and this is your number #1 thrifting experience. No thrift store in Chicago gets even near the fabulousness of this place. It's huge but it is not filled with garbage. New and incredible stuff comes in every week! Great antique and modern furniture, light fixtures, books, records, clothes, jewelry, kitchenware, gardening, sport gears, textiles, rugs, mirrors and art... they also have a year-round Xmas shop and regular department discounts. This shop is also incredibly well curated. Items are very fairly priced too. Rene', the owner, and her army of charming helpers are a true delight. Always smiling and welcoming. We bought so much from this store. It has brought so much joy. We end up there almost every week and rarely leave empty handed. And the money goes to charity. I mean, what more do you want? This is the one and only thrift store in you need. Chicagoans, take a trip to Libertyville and learn how it's done. If you have not been to Upscale Rummage yet, you don't know what thrifting is about. Go. NOW!”

To make it feel better that I am buying when I should not, I am able to consign what I no longer want with them. The staff is very friendly. I wish I knew about them years ago. “I just happen to find this little Gem by accident, lol. Its a little consignment store they have antiques, big and small, all very reasonably priced. My mother-in-law bought a small glass cabinet for dvds and nic-nacs. It was beautiful wood and glass 4 shelves for $70.00, which we thought was a great price. They have a range of items there glasses, dishes, pictures, furniture, rugs, etc. They had a cute small chandelier for $25.00. I just bought one. I was bummed about that because the one they had was cuter! If you are into this kind of stuff or redecorating, give them a try. It's small but worth it.”

“I recently visited the North Shore Exchange's online store, and was impressed with the selection of items available for purchase. It was well-organized, making it easy to browse through the various sections.
More importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful -- particularly Patricia, the store manager, whose assistance was greatly appreciated. Finally, I like the fact that this consignment shop supports a number of worthy causes, as the proceeds go towards helping those in need.
