Tried the rest , found the best . Carmen is a master behind this operation . I was able to take my time and try out multiple drivers . Some magic from Carmen’s knowledge, and I’ve never been hitting like this before . Definitely check this place out as the facility is amazing

Going to True Spec and Carmen will absolutely improve your score, and Carmen in particular can positively influence everything from how you think about your own swing/game to your understanding of the broader golf world and equipment - that goes for everyone from beginners to low-handicappers. I've been to the major names in fitting and plenty of coaches in 20 years of playing golf, but Carmen's expertise, partnership, and intuition are second to none. I went to True Spec for a driver after getting fitted for irons by a popular competitor, and was immediately blown away by the difference in approach. Carmen knows more about fitting than anyone you'll meet and TS has the best tech out there. Just as impressive, Carmen can adapt his approach on the spot to help deliver a better experience and increase your confidence in the process. Within the first 20 minutes Carmen was already instinctively identifying and making adjustments to optimize the experience for me as a player/person - everything from altering how he gave direction to the level information he provided as we progressed to helping me understand how certain results would fit into my game made a difference.It is worth noting that a bit of trust and humility can go a long way in any fitting. I came in with an open mind but - as an over-thinker - also having conducted an absurd amount of research. The latter was a waste as Carmen and True Spec have infinitely more access and exposure to the manufacturers and data than we do, and they are only going to fit you with what actually PERFORMS the best. Since getting my driver fitted, Carmen noted my irons fitted by Club Champion were NOT created to the specs the fitter provided/recommended (with no pressure to fix it or criticism), I completely changed out my wedges (including Carmen gapping things just right to save me on the cost of the extra wedge I'd been carrying), and was fitted for a hybrid after mine broke. Getting fitted is absolutely worth it, especially knowing Carmen will set you up for success while making the whole process genuinely fun.

Working with Carmen for my club fitting was an all around exceptional experience. He really is a master of his craft. Carmen as he would say is on your team to find the best fit for your swing. Being an average golfer and going through my second fitting ever, Carmen was very patient, yet also knew instantly when something worked or didn't work. He also took the time to explain the numbers and how we got to which clubs were ultimately right for me. With usually having a brand preference (and I had two in mind) for golf clubs, I decided to go into my fitting open to trusting the numbers and his recommendations (read previous reviews about Carmen prior to), and the numbers don't lie and didn't really disappoint as well. So, if you're looking to get fitted for a new driver or new clubs and have some $$$ to spend on golf, my guy, Carmen is the one to see.

My fitting experience with Carmen was exceptional! It is apparent he is an expert at his craft but more importantly knows how to make you know and understand how you are the most important part of the process. I highly recommend Carmen to anyone looking to fulfill their golf potential.

Doesn’t get any better than Carmen. Great experience with him for both my driver and iron fittings. He has you try every brand, no pressure whatsoever, and works with you to find what fits best for your swing. Extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what he’s doing. The man will probably find the right clubs for you not even halfway through the appointment. 100% recommend Carmen and True Spec.

I have tried every major fitting experience available in the Chicagoland area -Club champion, pga tour superstore, golf galaxy, PXG, private demo days, etc. Carmen and the truespec team are the most complete and thorough experience around. State of the art facility and a satisfying experience. The only fitting where I left feeling like the experience exceeded my expectations. Will be going back for wedges and gapping soon. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! The facility is a golfers dream. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carmen who was fantastic; a true golf professional. With True Specs technology and Carmen’s knowledge of the golf club, Carmen was able to clearly point out my flaws; where I was losing speed and power; to ultimately build the club tailored to my particular swing. After mix and matching a variety of shafts with a variety of clubs Carmen eventually had me dialed in with significant improvements all the way around; ball striking, ball speed, club head speed, flight path, distance; everything! I’ve been golfing for 30 years and I feel like I’ve been cheated until now. I am looking forward to the completion of building the rest of my bag with Carmen!

This was my first experience going through a fitting with True Spec and all I can say is wow! It truly changed my game.Carmen is an amazing club fitter! He has an abundance of knowledge and not only picked out the best configuration, but educated me why it was working.Overall, the entire facility including The Golf Practice (which True Spec is inside of) is world class. If you’re looking to improve your game check out both of them!

Carmen Corvino was extremely knowledgeable about his craft; most golfers do not realize just how much equipment can change your swing and ball flight when we think it's mostly mechanical. The faculty and equipment are top notch. He doesn't care what you swing or what brand you land on at the end of the day he WILL show you great results!

Carmen knows exactly what he's doing, and how to get the most out of your swing. I've been fit a bunch of times in my life but never felt as confident in a purchase as I did here. There's a reason that it's hard to get an appointment. Worth the wait and worth every penny.

Just an awesome experience. I was always on the fence whether fitting was a gimmick or maybe not for me etc but this changed everything. Carmen is a rocket scientists for golf clubs. His ability to recognize what your swing needs to be optimal is incredible. The best part was at the end, he didn’t even ask me to buy anything, he just was like let me print out your “prescription” and that’s that and I was so surprised. No hard sell, no salesman type pressure, he’s literally there to help you find your unique fit. Would highly recommend truespec and Carmen especially to anyone.

Having very recently gone through a horrendous experience with another North Chicago clubfitter, I was reticent about going to another clubfitter.After a two hour in-depth session today with Carmen at True Spec my faith has been restored.Not alone is he passionate about golf but he watches, listens and analyzes. He took as much time as was needed.I am very excited to get my clubs in a few weeks. He has already told me he wants me back to hit the clubs under his watchful eye before he lets me loose on the course.My confidence is now sky-high .
