801 E Park Ave, Libertyville“If I could, I would give Upscale Rummage 10 stars! This place is truly amazing. Do you love thrifting? Do you think you've got your thrifting routine all worked out? Do you think you've got your line up of unmissable Chicago thrifts sorted? You are wrong... unless you've already been to Upscale Rummage already and this is your number #1 thrifting experience. No thrift store in Chicago gets even near the fabulousness of this place. It's huge but it is not filled with garbage. New and incredible stuff comes in every week! Great antique and modern furniture, light fixtures, books, records, clothes, jewelry, kitchenware, gardening, sport gears, textiles, rugs, mirrors and art... they also have a year-round Xmas shop and regular department discounts. This shop is also incredibly well curated. Items are very fairly priced too. Rene', the owner, and her army of charming helpers are a true delight. Always smiling and welcoming. We bought so much from this store. It has brought so much joy. We end up there almost every week and rarely leave empty handed. And the money goes to charity. I mean, what more do you want? This is the one and only thrift store in you need. Chicagoans, take a trip to Libertyville and learn how it's done. If you have not been to Upscale Rummage yet, you don't know what thrifting is about. Go. NOW!”

1107 Central Ave, Wilmette“Absolutely love the Shop from the attentive staff and volunteers, to the amazing window displays, from the great selection of clean, quality clothing that I am saving from a landfill to the important mission. So glad to have the shop in town.”
“I had great luck here today, 3 items tried/3 items purchased. Prices were higher here than some other thrift stores, but nice stuff. They take Venmo, cash or check but no credit cards. But look out for the non-private changing room, lol. I was in there in my skivvies and someone came in -- I called out around the screen that the room was occupied -- she kept coming! I protested that I was trying on clothes, she said in an aggravated tone, "Yes, I want to, too." When I was checking out I asked about it and they said, yes, women are expected to share a common changing space, but I was assured that men were not allowed in when women were in there. Well I should say.”

8349 W Golf Rd, Niles“Love coming here!! It is a treasure chest of jewelry, clothing, shoes, house stuff and more. Today i found Salvador Ferragamo boots, in Chocolate brown in my size!! I bought a flower arrangement in a basket in perfect condition
And brand new mugs. I started Xmas shopping for sure! Nancy the manager is always so friendly and helpful. Thank you for expanding the store. It looks bright and shiny! Congratulations Wings and Nancy on a job really well done!”
“Cute little thrift store with a varied selection of items. Men's section of clothing is fairly limited. Some nice coats and dress shoes. What stuck out to me the most were the foreign decor pieces. The staff were friendly and courteous.”
“We donated to them, but had a chance to see the retail operation. Higher end gently used clothing and household goods, and priced accordingly. We gave them 6 prom dresses and matching shoes, among other things. Similar, nice quality dresses were priced around $40. Definitely worth a look!”
“I abs love it here the employees are nice some are friendly. THE CUSTOMERS LOVES ME !!!! Iove the enthusiasm that they give me. I'm happy to help when I need too. It's just a new opportunity and a blast for me. Thank you Ed and Liz for making me be a part of the team. May God bless you both ?”
“It was a nice goodwill. Many things are packed on the shelves in the hardlines area, & a very large section of the clothing is dedicated to Woman's Clothing's. Men's section of clothing I found it hard to find any short sleeve collared shirts. Each size of the section didn't have much more than 3 feet of clothing of nothing special brands. I've noticed that many of the 50% tags are missing. They could have been pulled to make more room for new items, but with much space already available, I am unsure why.
This place was a bit clean & organized other Goodwills I have visited.
I really appreciate that they have a bick rack outside the store. Much appreciated.
I wasn't able to find much today. But there's always another day for many new things to come in.”

9840 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines“A ton of well-organized interesting finds.Hint would be if you do see something that you think you like I would go ahead and purchase it for the low price because of left even overnight it might be gone the next day...”
“Great thrift shop. Very random in objects acquired/donated, but interesting enough that it's part of my circuit of places to visit. Usually walk away with at least one thing per visit, or the desire to. Which is more than most thrift stores I visit anymore.”
