I believe the shops on place refers to Renaissance place Mall. The mall is suffering horribly with businesses having left after pandemic ... and we'll before the virus. We lost Chipotle, Jamba Juice, AND Panera, (three tough losses). WHY? Retail spots are mostly half empty and Saks Fifth Ave. closed years ago to find condos going up. SIGNIFICANT absence of RESTAURANTS, and this was before the pandemic. I have the notion that the owners of the mall ask and almost unreasonable rent. Chipotle was always packed, but closed to go to Deerfield, just west of our Highland Park. There's a Starbucks that's the malls hot spot. Real shame. This location, in Highland Park, Illinois, should be popping and filled to the brink with stores and eateries.
