They first did a police tow after an accident, then subcontracted a tow for Hot Rides Auto Body to the latter's shop, without providing an estimate beforehand - contrary to Illinois regulations. All with outrageous prices. Guess it's easy to overcharge when you give people the price after the fact, holding their cars hostage.

Fantastic service from Douglas Towing! I inadvertently put my car in a ditch last night after our most recent snowstorm, and when I reached them this morning they responded quickly and rescued my car (which was quite a task, given the amount of snow we got!). They completely saved my day!
