5AM - 8PM
1000 Grove St, Evanston“I love the variety here. The 6 lane pool is the appropriate temperature for a workout, but if you prefer warmer the 4 lane is there. Clean locker rooms, steam and dry sauna, plus extensive weight room and cardio equipment for whatever you need. The staff is great, and it's super queer and gender inclusive. Just wish there was a punching bag!”
“It was AMAZING to see the Home Alone house. When we were there, over 50 people arrived. The big thing to remember is that that is someone's house, so be respectful. It was really cold to see the house even many many years later.”
“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”
“Such a community gem. I’ve loved the different workshops I’ve attended. I appreciate being able to buy materials from the warehouse - which provides affordable materials and keeps them out of the landfills. Their job force training has been life changing for my son and others.”
9AM - 5PM
222 Waukegan Rd, Glenview“Super helpful amd friendly staff. Due to COVID they do restrict number of people entering building. Dr was great at explaining my father's condition and hopefully got through to him. Great information on their services. So glad we were able to get an appointment earlier rather than having to wait for the new year.”
“My niece's baby shower was on their patio. Their staff was very nice and the grounds are lovely. There should be decent coverage if they're going to rent out their patio. The rain chased everyone in to a MUCH smaller covered area, so many of us left for infection control reasons. Had the rain been earlier, it would have destroyed the event. I'm sure they're not cheap. This is an unacceptable gamble. Also, be aware that their signage is completely inadequate and Google directions is inaccurate when approaching from the north. Look for a tiny sandwich sign placed right on the pavement to identify your turn into their parking lot, rather than the final street Google says you're supposed to turn on.”
10AM - 5PM
8349 W Golf Rd, Niles“Love coming here!! It is a treasure chest of jewelry, clothing, shoes, house stuff and more. Today i found Salvador Ferragamo boots, in Chocolate brown in my size!! I bought a flower arrangement in a basket in perfect condition

“My shul. When I'm there, it feels like I am surrounded by family, as my family must have davened 60 or 70 years ago. They are welcoming, kind, attentive, & truly care about everyone who contacts them & comes to worship.”
“They're pretty friendly. The are fair and help when they can and more often than we expect with other shelters being the way they are. Stay positive and things with them will work out.”
“I work at Goodwill as a scullery operator 4:30 to 9:30 a.m. I really like the hours it's a good place to work and they're looking for more help mention my name Michael Atkinson if you're looking for work.”
“I can’t say enough nice things about the Woman’s Club of Evanston. Location, location, location! The building is beautiful and elegant and allows you to save on decorating costs. The furniture and art at the venue are like walking through a museum. The manager, Gretchen, is a pleasure to work with and great at communicating. My favorite part of the venue is the two floors, which allow for a seamless room flip. I would recommend the Woman’s Club to anyone getting married, or for any special event.”
