I needed new US dollars to take on a trip abroad ( in June 2023). Linda was the teller helping me. She said the US treasury had not sent them new batches of money. Linda spent an hour going through huge stacks of bills looking for bills less than 10 years old and in good shape! Thank you, Linda!!

I was shocked at their lax attitude toward Covid safety measures. There was sanitizer all around, but many of their staff weren’t wearing their masks—including one banker sitting in his enclosed office while he was alone. He only put his mask on when he had customers. Some of the staff looked like they had just come in from the beach. I felt very uncomfortable and won’t go back.

Horrible first experience. When I first walked through the door and got greeted I had a very good first impression. Came in to open up a checking account, and couldn’t open it unless I had a “green card”. I have a US work permit, state ID and SS. That wasn’t enough. I was surprised, because I know a lot friends and family who didn’t have a problem opening up an account with just ID and SS numbers. Walked over to Bank of America next door and they were amazing to meet my needs right away, no hassle. I would not recommend Chase to anyone. Horrible.

They have nice coffee and ATM machines. Other than that, there is hardly anything you can do here. If you need a full service branch, you need to go elsewhere. It's really disappointing to me. After having a great first impression - back when they had actual tellers and staff - and choosing it as my branch, they took away the tellers and most of the staff. Now you have to go down to Northbrook to even get something notarized. Ignore the other reviews - those were based on when this was a fully-staffed branch.
