This is the second time I came and received terrible customer service I will not come back after this time. I waited both times for an hour while Maggie Deszczak and other employees of bmo assist one single customer for an hour. I asked multiple times “how much longer” “I have to pick up my daughter now” and I was told to hold on each time. I felt stereotyped and racially profiled both times. As an African American being treated poorly while other races get treated nice is hurtful. Do better please.

Called today to make a transfer over the phone, which I do every month, because the type of account I have there has no online access, and I encounter such a rude employee. There is a teller there named Laura who is so kind and helps me all the time, but she wasn't working today. The woman on the phone said she couldn't do it because she didn't know me, so I asked if anyone else could help me. She said there's no one else there, they either called in sick and they were short staffed. Then I asked to speak to the manager. After being on hold for several minutes, someone picking up and then putting me back on hold several times, I heard someone pick up and just hang up. So for the next ten minutes I called back and no one answered. Finally, I just went to a different branch in Oak Lawn, and they were so so kind. This is a terrible location for customer service, and unfortunately it is not the first time I've been treated so rudly.

Have a business account here we are a small business and it honestly has just been the worst experience. They consistently lock debit cards for purchases at places we go to multiple times a week. There answer is to get a credit card with them .... why would I give you more of my business when you are not doing the simplest tasks. STAY AWAY!

The manager at Harris Bank branch in Highland Park, IL was very rude. I went in to purchase a CD and wrote a check for $30,000. I gave them my trust papers so it could be on the trust. After giving them identification and social security information they were questioning the trust and wanted to know how long I lived in my home etc. They needed permission from their main office to finalize the transaction. After a long wait I questioned why it was taking so long. The manager said it takes time and if you can't wait we don't need your money. I tore up my check and left.

I do not bank with BMO but after my initial experience, you bet your bottom dollar that I never will. I went in to cash checks issued from BMO customers. I had called prior to going in and the bank teller woman set the precedent of how I'd be treated - curt, monotonous, I-don't-want-to-be-at-work voice and attitude. Sorry to have inconvenienced you while at your work. Upon coming in, she was steadfast in maintaining her attitude. There were minor logistical errors that she was quick to not resolve. She was extermely insistent on "sorry, can't do it." Her coworker was equally asanine with her under-the-breath comments (I have ears FYI) and made me very uncomfortable. I was left with no resolution (as long as they did not really have to try to do anything, that is alright). I would rather wire my money to a Nigerian prince than to ever go back into their entitiy or bank with them. You have two major focuses in your businses: customer service and money. If you can't manage to do handle both, why do you work there?
