“Attended the BBQ SMOKED BRISKET class yesterday with my son and we had an amazing time. The Class was taught by a national champion. We learned how to trim and separate a whole brisket into the FLAT & POINT, rubs, wood, pellets sauces and...The Class included two beers, a whole 12lbs raw BRISKET to take home, two jars of rub and our own filet knife. The event was awesome. The store was like a BBQ'rs Disneyworld. The owner and his employees were also wonderful.I would highly recommend Backyard Barbecue.”

“I can't even begin to tell you how helpful, patient and kind that Mike in the Appliance Department was to me. I ordered my GE Electric Stove on line. I decided to go to the Glenview Home Depot so I could see the Refrigerator and Dishwasher. He spent much time with me explaining and answering my questions. He is a cheerful person and I could tell he liked his job. You are lucky to have such an employee! I give 5 Stars to Mike and I look forward to working with him if I should need a washer & dryer. I refuse to shop at your biggest competitor as their prices are too high and they charge fees for every little thing! My contractor agrees and tells his customer to shop at Home Depot for all appliances. Please share this with Mike. Kathie T.”

“Menards is our go to hardware, lumber and garden store. They have everything we needed and better prices than Lowe’s and Home Depot. On top of it they offer the 11% rebate??
Just wish the 11% rebate didn’t have to be mailed in, it’s a waste of our stamps, this seems so old school.”
“Only reason why I give Home Depot 4/5 Stars is due to their unwillingness (on a corporate level) to accept NFC Payments (Apple Pay, etc.).
For the record… at this point, ALL three of Home Depot’s direct big-box competitors; Lowe’s, Menards, and Ace Hardware; accept Apple Pay. HD is one of the few-remaining retail companies who continue to take this stubborn stance.
I know this is a corporate issue, but it’s still a bit ridiculous that there are places where I can’t pay with my digital wallet in 2024.
Otherwise, great selection, clean store, and friendly service. The usual to be expected at HD. ?”

She explained the benefits of the different options I had and helped me figure out exactly how much paint I needed. You need more people like Sofie at every Home Depot. Hopefully she sees this and if she does thank you so much Sofie you made a confusing trip a fun and informative one.”

“there was a lot of new items and I really like the plant section as I am I have a gardener however, I did notice that there wasn't a lot of selection when it came to stones and towels that I could use in my garden and this was kind of disappointing, especially due to the high rates of drought that are known to be occurring in our area sometimes during the summer but nonetheless, I was very happy with the plant selection and the selection of sand available in this establishment store”

“Had such an amazing experience working with this store while redesign our bathroom. For starters: They are totally happy to let you browse and shop around without hovering, and have a beautiful set-up. Also, working with Diana was a dream. She was an absolute expert during the process. She knew everything about every brand, fixture, style, and price-point and was just such a joy to work with. Her friendliness, knowledge, and ability to figure out our aesthetic and find us some great options we loved - all while not up selling or pressuring us - was so refreshing. I cannot say enough great things about her and this store. After weeks of looking around in different places (and having some success, but many failures too) it was just incredible to find this place where whole process can be vertically integrated and managed by an actual professional.
