Really enjoy having a store so close to the house. Most of the time, it’s well managed. However, it’s seems that they are “temporarily closed” at least once or twice a week and it’s quite frustrating. It’s becoming more common for me to drive up there and find the store closed.. Especially on the weekends.

Stood at the checkout for several minutes NO ONE in site. Left items on counter only to find the workers outside. Told them they just lost a sale and all they had to say was Hmm. Will NEVER go there again. All should be fired!!!!

This place is a joke. The manager is horrible to her employees, excluding her Assistant manager. She constantly yells at and berates her employees. Her attitude and demeanor make customers uncomfortable. She cusses in front of customers and constantly blames her boss for everything so she is never accountable for any problems. Why would you go somewhere that treats their employees are poorly as she does? There are Dollar Generals 8 minutes away each direction in Red Bud and Smithton. I won’t be giving this store my business anymore and hopefully others will follow suit.

The manager is horrible to her employees. She talks about her employees with other employees and is always gossiping. She cusses when there are customers around and she doesn't have a friendly customer service side with customers, she is the same, rude, abrasive person she always is. Her employees have worked very hard to keep the store nice and are met with absolutely no appreciation whatsoever except for the assistant manager. She's extremely unprofessional and not one bit friendly. She audibly sighs when customers need help returning something or with a price check because the POS system never rings in the coupons that are advertised around the store. When the customer leaves, she tells her employees how annoying the customer is. She has thrown things down an aisle at an employee. She blames every single issue with the store on her boss, the district manager. She speaks about employees' personal medical information and accuses them of things that are untrue. Her store may be nice but with the amount of customers who dislike her attitude and choose not to visit the store anymore, I don't see this manager lasting too much longer. It would be a disservice to the kind people of Hecker.

Countless witnesses of the Manager and Assistant Manager bashing employees in front of customers.. New cashier leaves customers waiting for more than 5 minutes. Tsk tsk.. Does this store manager have a superior? A zero * would of been more beneficial!
