Very nice and helpful employees from both the deli, cashiers and managers. My family always shops here and we love it. Fruits tend to spoil in a few days so make sure to refrigerate or freeze for future usage. Stop food waste!

I have panic attacks in large box stores so Butera & I fit well. I can get around without overwhelm, love their organic vegetable section and am always interested to try the variety of Polish products they feature. But best of all, I found Danish kringle, a pastry from near my hometown of Kenosha, WI!

This is my families main source of food. I worked here as my only job before I got schizophrenia and it is a place where almost every member of my family have worked here at some point or another. I love this place because it has been kind to me and my family. A very nice place to get food.

I remember butera from back in the days when my mom use to send us to get her grocerys. They use to be in chicago I saw they had a good sale on the cut up ribs for 99 cents a pound. When I got there I felt I was still back in the days place does not look updated but it is clean thru out the store. I wanted at least 8 of the packages found 5 good ones there was like 3 left but had to much fat asked butcher is there anymore in back mind u its like 3 afternoon he responded he had to cut up some like im bothering him I just said ok nevermind. I'm going to leave butera as it is in the past.

4.2 stars. Always find loss leaders and plenty of meat and veggie specials. Check dates on any item. Clean enough establishment. Huge parking lot with Accessible spaces.Wide selection of international products. Prices are right in the pocket between nearby Jewel, Aldi and Amazon Fresh.Heads up...weekly specials are often sold out without rain checks offered.I Recommend this store.

It's an older store and a tad run down. But the staff is very kind and helpful, the prices are low but they still keep the name brands. It's hard to be mad when you feel like you have been going there forever.

Cashiers need help with verbiage at cashier lanes . Woman at cashier lane was extremely rude and aggressive . If a card has decline please don't keep yelling it out . Instead use the words failed to integrate . I had locked my card and just had to unlock it to use it . Just because it says it on the register doesn't mean you read it to me . Your cashiers number is on there you don't see yourself yelling that at me . Verbiage is important. Your customers are important treat them as such .

Food selection was ok, prices medium to high. Be wary of the dates on lunch meat from the deli unless you freeze it. Alot of changes doesn't carry alot of stuff the I used to go there specifically for.

I'd rather $ave money, than pay for updated store fixtures etc... I actually like the "dated" feel it brings me back to simpler time. Want updates shop at Marianos they charge you for it. I'll enjoy the awesome staff and dated feel, thank you very much Butera!

Love this place! Great fruit and vegetables! Everything I need and MORE? for ex, it's the only place I can find my favorite ice cream (SPUMANI)!!! actually I never heard of it until I started going to Buteras like 2yrs ago ? ?P.s not to mention all the workers I've dealt with were friendly?? TY Buteras on Gunnison st.??

I would give 5 stars, prices are great, staff is nice, but omw! the music almost made me cry, please change it to happy music, some of us are sensitive to a lot of things, music can be therapeutic, but the music at Butera is sad, outdated, and somber, please make my shopping experience pleasant with at least country music, anything but not that old sad 70’s music .?
