Ah, the luxurious experience began with a welcoming committee – a homeless man outside puffing away and another inside enjoying the aromatic ambiance. Classy. Check in had a huge bullet-proof barrier at the front desk, which added a homey feel. The bugs in the hallway were so friendly, they practically tap-danced on my shoes. It's like they trained specifically for my arrival. I really got to feel apart of the show with every sticky step echoing down the hall.Even the smoke free rooms had the sweet smell of nicotine seeping from the walls. I put on socks just to walk around the room and within 15 minutes I could see my footprints on the bottom of my socks from the room's advanced dirt technology. The bed bugs were the real MVPs though, providing an intimate experience you won't find in those five-star joints. I even got trails of bites as a souvenir – the gift that keeps on itching. The promised breakfast? The only breakfast here was the crunch of bugs underfoot. The missing microwave also added an element of surprise. No cancellations, no breakfast, and certainly no regrets – unless you count the remorse of not bringing hazmat suits. A truly humbling experience.I left with not just memories but also the suspicion that my suitcase might have adopted a few extra passengers. 1 out of 5 stars – would not recommend unless you're an entomologist seeking new species or a thrill seeker looking for your next dangerous endeavor!Rooms: Dirty, bed bugs, smoke smell everywhere.Nearby activities: Middle of no where.Safety: Dangerous.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Days Inn in Harvey Park, and I must say it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the doors, the front desk staff, led by the outstanding Lucas, made me feel truly welcomed. The check-in process was seamless, and Lucas's attentiveness and professionalism stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met during my stay. The rest of the staff followed suit, creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the area. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and it added to the overall positive experience. The location of the hotel in Harvey Park is convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions. Whether it was recommendations for local dining or assistance with transportation, the staff was always ready with helpful advice.I can confidently say that the Days Inn in Harvey Park exceeded my expectations, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Lucas and the entire staff. If you're looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay, I highly recommend this establishment. My sincere thanks to everyone at Days Inn for making my stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning in the future.

This must be a boarding house for the homeless! There was a meeting in the dining room of about 50 people chanting and clapping. Very scary! The hotel smelled like smoke throughout. Sign in window at service desk 'no smoking". No breakfast as stated online! This was a horrible place. Homeless people in the lobby and out front of building just hanging around.Dogs barking in rooms! Room doors banging shut constantly because doors were left unlocked and kept hitting the jarred lock! Back door of building left jarred open! This was a nightmare! Sign on window said no money back after 15! How can Wyndham authorize this place as a suitable hotel! The check out person didn't even want to give us a receipt! Kept saying it would be on the credit card statement we get in the mail. No I demanded a receipt because of the $30 deposit we had to give in addition to the amount of the hotel room but would be refunded after check out!

All I can say is, it is true for hotels that you get what you pay for. This place of course is in the hood. But there was an extra charge that would have been made if I would have stayed because of a deposit that was going to be added. Room wasn't ready even though it was booked well in advance. The card machine wasn't working. I just left after all the issues the hotel was having.

Not as advertised. Visiting from Minnesota for a funeral. After 15 minutes, you can't get a refund, then the roaches started appearing. Then your refund takes 3 to 5 business days. That was all the money I had to get a room. You are kinda forced to stay, or sleep in my car.Rooms: Nasty roach infested.

Room was decent . It had no roaches in this one this time. It was actually clean smelling this time also.. I just almost had to get on that with a crack head who kept knocking on the door looking for some dude named "Jason". So they need to be more of a stickler on when guests are disturbing others. But it's Harvey , so I guess I expect nothing less or more.??♂️

2 stars because everything was fine until check out. I had to work and was going to renew the room, had my elderly mother in the room. They RUDELY kicked her out, didn't even want her on the property and threatened to call the cops on her. That is not how you treat elderly people, in our culture we are taught to respect the elderly. The younger staff members were perfect, even let her check in early.. But the older man that I guess owns the place shouldn't be there, he is so grumpy and rude. He looks you up and down like he's better than you... He treated my mother like a piece of trash. Spoke to her like she was a bum. Yet allowed drinks to enter with alcohol and be disruptive! I will not be going back until he is out of there!

This is the very worst place I've ever stayed. Overflowing stinky dumpster and garbage cans outside. On check in, my reservation took 5 minutes to find on the computer. Had to wait and no public restroom? (I just got off the road!) They charged me a $30 fee for incidentals. What incidentals? There were no services at this place. The carpets were gross. The room door's security lock was not screwed into the door jamb. Turned on switch, and only foyer light lit. No lamps worked in the room. Went to bathroom. Light in there also didn't work. Turned on bath fan, and a small light did work there. Enough for me to figure out all the lamps (and clock radio) were unplugged. Once lights were on, the room was not even decent. Mismatched old furniture, disgusting carpet, disgusting pillows, clean sheets and comfy bed (thank goodness). There were remnants from a prior guest on the desk. There was small coffee maker but no coffee or sugar or cream or cups. Desk chair was sticky and gross. In the bathroom, the formica from the front of the vanity was gone. So was the hair dryer, but the mount was on the wall. The baseboards were peeling off. The next morning at checkout, there was a sign saying that the "free breakfast" was not available. I would never stay at this place again.Rooms: Disgusting and old. Poorly maintained.Safety: Scary. Dangerous looking area. Warnings that they're not responsible for your vehicle, improper locks on room door (damaged/ broken).

We booked two rooms, our other guest got up in the middle of the night and left! We didn't know till the next morning when we called to find out what happened. There was no hot tub as advertised and no breakfast available and if there was I wouldn't have went to eat there anyways, when we walked into our room there was no toilet paper in the room anywhere! No phone to call the front desk to send some up, no blankets, both my man and I woke up with bed bug bites all over us. Our other group left because they told us there room was infested with roaches. No remote for the TV. Fridge in the room was broken. Just overall a very unpleasant experience. Will never be going back to this hotel! And still waiting on my refund and security deposits!

I wish that I could not rate this place at all. The only reason I decided to do a review was because they refused to refund me my money. I am going to make a long story short, it was late at night and I needed somewhere to rest for about 6 hours or so. I was referred to this hotel and the rest is history; below I will post the pictures and let them speak for themselves. I only ended up staying there 3 hours or so, and left immediately in the morning. Please please do not go to this hotel. Let's just say sanitation was not at its best, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to be used as a morgue. Ps. I was offered a different room which was really no better then the first one.

The pictures of the hotel were obviously taken when it was built, because it looks NOTHING like that now. It is dirty, ran down, & unsafe to stay in.There is no breakfast, no phones in the rooms, no hair dryer, coffee pot, cups, etc.We were given a half a roll of toilet paper in a double room & only one towel. The TV & internet kept going out.The Elevator only takes you up, to go down, use the stairs.Floor falling thru in bathroom, hairballs on floor, used qtips on floor,Non smoking room but cigarette ash in toilet paper dispenser, Old car freshener attached to room air unit, broken glass & empty bottles in hallway. No screen in second story window.Fridge not cleaned out from previous guests.Beds & pillows were filthy & smelled. There wasn’t a clean spot anywhere…

Wish I could give 0 stars but I can't. Drove 11 hours from home to find a Front lobby that smelled like marijuana, or cat pee couldn't tell, probably the permanent residents. Couldn't get into my room and once I did I discovered baby cockroaches in the bathroom, the beds were disgusting. The fridge was disgusting. The floors were filthy, and the room had a funky smell. The bathroom floor was all crusty and coming apart. Walked in walked Right back out to demand a refund and found a different hotel.

The service in this place is good, the staff is friendly and understanding. However the rest is just simply horrible. The rooms are so dirty and the stink in the hallways was unbearable. All the guests would cover their nose to walk through the hallways. We changed rooms 3 times because each one was worse than the other. We had no other option than staying here. But I know I would not come back at all.

If I could give it a 0 I would. First room, the bed wasn't made and you could tell someone had been lying on it. Bathroom was disgusting. 2nd room looked cleaner than the first one, until I saw bugs running under the bed. The only light is at the door,in the bathroom or over the sink, literally ZERO lights anywhere else. I have serious concerns about bedbugs and all other vermin being in here. This was a last minute booking for a concert that we drove from out of state to attend. If you are looking at this hotel, run! Sadly I have to attempt to sleep as i have to drive back home again tomorrow morning.Noteworthy details: Bugs and filth, EVERYWHERE
