“This is a great convenience store for people living in the Avalon Park Community. They have a lot of seasonal foods that is enjoyable. The workplace atmosphere is social, alarming, and jokingly sweet. Do not spend too much there at Food Town because the photos show that there is a family that needs the seasonal foods and treats too; also, the local advertisements that Food Town market will bring you to another place just as great as Food Town. “Great for Meats !! All the meats are gr deals .but things like cereal 7.89 to 9 dollars a box come on that us way to expensive !!! 3.89 for hot do buns .. no way !! Only the meat you can't go Wrong here you will be tempted to buy other things ,just make sure it fit your budget.”

“Great selection of meats at reasonable prices. I particularly liked their pork steaks; they're cut thick, and they aren't ragged like the ones you get at the supermarket. The staff were patient while I browsed, and helpful when I had questions. Also, they do accept EBT/Illinois Link, so I recommend checking out their bulk deals or their discount steaks.”

“Mannnn….no se por donde empezar. This place has Been here for a while and I can see why! They carnitas are amazing! Not greasy or fatty like other places. Everyone there is extremely nice…from the carnicero, to the lady stocking the shelves, to the cashier. It’s a small family business but you can tell they care. Everything is organized and it feels good to spend your money here.I always stop by when I’m in the area!”
“The week that I was there, they had nice thick t-bone steaks for $3.99 per lb which is not heard of. Many meat items had very good sale price. Everything looked fresh, however, there was a slight odor. Wear a heavy coat, as it very cold, on purpose.”
