Staff was very nice and my truck was unloaded quickly. My only slight issue was that the directions to the receiving department were a little confusing. Not a bad place overall.

They WONT HIRE ME!!!! I live right next door!! I’m able bodied, never done drugs or alcohol, can work any schedule they need me to. What’s the hold up? I finally found a close job that aligns with my skills. This would’ve been perfect for me and they keep canceling the interview. I think they’re just being racist at this point. Last year was a difficult year with my living situation, but now I’m living with roommates and I’ve been waiting to give it my all at this job. Especially with it being next door! It’s so disappointing.

People here are very friendly. They didn't leave me standing around waiting for someone. As you go in the shipping and receiving office, it is straight about 25 feet on your right. The bathroom is on the right as you walk in. Flatheds off load in door 5A. Forklift off loads inside the dock, so don't back up all the way.

For my truckers Check in is by the flag pole. It’s pretty easy in & out. Had the hunt of my life for an empty trailer. Was told to go out and around the gate was locked. You can go directly through the back to get that empty.

Equipment seems a bit substandard, and it appears there are some communication issues.

I applied for a job at true value, and received a call weeks later saying i would be a good fit. After a 10 minute telephone interview, I was given a 9 am in person interview time. I arrived early, and after waiting OVER AN HOUR I was told a fire alarm was scheduled, and I should reschedule the interview for another time. If this is how they treat prospective employees, I can only imagine how they treat you after you sign on the dotted line.

Zero stars if I could! They do not tell you where to go. There is a sign when you come in that says drivers straight ahead, follow signs. There are no signs! You actually should turn left after the stop sign. It will not say True Value receiving. The building says truserv Corporation. Very confusing. The door you have to back into is literally inside of the employee parking. Look at the photos! Absolutely ridiculous!!! ALSO YOU HAVE TO BACK INTO A BUILDING! NO LINES ON THE GROUND, NO LIGHTS- NOTHING TO GUIDE YOU. WATCH FOR THE GIANT METAL DOOR KILLER! SEE THE LAST PICTURE

I was told I'd be paid $17 an hour. LIE, my check stubbs showed $16.50. After consulting my coworkers they told me the same thing. HR gave us the run around and nothing changed. Also I was told I would be operating a fork lift. LIE, I stood in place for 11 hours picking. Whats more is when I did wise up and left, this sweat shop taxed my final paycheck 43%.Company built on lies.Don't work here!
