$85 to read some codes is absurd. I'm all about fair pay for quality work, but to diagnose a couple of codes and charge this price is crazy. Mind you, there was no work done to address the issues. We walked in to pick it up and immediately were being charged by the receptionist. It would be nice if the mechanic who looked at the car could take an initiative to walk the customer through their findings without having to be asked. It showed a lack of care to the customer and that really didn't instill trust for me.Will not take any vehicles here again. Save your time and money and take your car elsewhere. There are places in town that check codes for FREE and others that can give you a detailed diagnostic look at any issues free of charge or for much cheaper than $85.

We've been going here for years, actually, moved out west, but was back in the area and went there to have wipers replaced and my fuses checked, Jim the owner is fantastic. Anytime I'm up that way and I have any issues I will go to them. When you call Rhonda is the one that answers the phone, shes a hoot, their service is great!!

Only place willing to take a quick look at my vehicle with no wiring fixed it in less than ten min only charged me 20 dollars. They seem to care about helping their customers. I highly recommend Pete's automotive!

I always get great service at this automotive shop!! I live in janesville and drive to Harvard because I trust their integrity at this location!!!!
