Dr. Shaun at Harvard Veterinary Clinic did our dogs surgery for ACL tear one day after she was diagnosed. He was excellent every step of the way.

Shawn was wonderful when we brought our dog in! We couldn't get in anywhere else, and we were recommended to Harvard Vet Clinic. My dog was in so much pain and wouldn't put any weight on his leg. Shawn narrowed it down to a pinched nerve in his neck that we would never have guessed. The doggo is doing great now and we absolutely will be back for normal visits. 10/10 we recommended this clinic

My review for this place is very awful, today this morning OCT, 16,2023 my son took in his sick cat. She is a very friendly cat but she was in pain after loosing all her babies after birth. And All my son wanted was help with her and I as his mother I recommended this place and it was a hugggggge mistake!!!!!! The “vetdr” took her in and examined her and just because she hissed he literally punched her on her forehead with force literally having pain already. What kind a “vetdr” does that to your furbaby????? Even the vet tech saw and she told him to relax. When my son walked in today every one nice and I know that feeling comfortable of course but after that cruelness everyone was soooo serious so they know that was not nice and PROFESSIONAL at all. So whoever reads my bad experience about what just happened it was NOT nice at all so PLEASE be aware and think about it twice before taking in your furbaby to this only exsisting place in my growing up town Harvard just please drive a little further, it’s just worth the drive,Thank you and God bless!

Took my dog to get a rabies shot and paid the full amount upfront and months later they sent me another bill stating they made a mistake on their end and requested more money. Won’t be coming back there as I’ll never know if they’ll keep requesting more money for the mistakes they make.

I absolutely love this clinic ! I have been bringing my dog here for over a year and have had my cats there also, they are very welcoming and ensure great care for all pets. They are always very helpful and are more than happy to help accommodate with what works best for you and your pet. The staff is all so kind and always love on all of the pets that come through the doors. I highly recommend this clinic !!!

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!On Tuesday May 16th we lost our family member fuma. Fuma was a young year and half old baby and we brought him here to be fixed which ultimately led to his death.Upon check in the nurses seemed nice and told us that fuma was in good hands which was a lie. Fuma was supposed to neutered here at the clinic and supposedly the surgery went well. Upon calling and checking in the nurses told his that he was doing fine until we were about to come get him they called and told us that he did not make it. The dr claimed he may have an underlying heart condition. The clinic DID NOT PERFORM ANY PREOP BLOOD WORK OR TESTS TO MAKE SURE FUMA COULD HANDLE THE SURGERY.When we asked why this wasn’t done they said that we denied preop blood work when signing the check in forms. HOWEVER, we were handed a computer and asked to sign the line with no further explanation on what these forms were. We weren’t even able to see what we were signing because they were on a computer with only a signature box present. When asked about this the Dr said that he will next time inform his staff to “do better”The Dr. Refused to send fumas body to get autopsied to find out cause of death and said there’s nothing else that can be done. He also said that fumas body jumped when giving the anesthesia and therefore result in him receiving less sedation which he said was perfectly fine. Our cat was like family and we trusted these people to take care of him and they killed him…Also, they never not one time called us after his surgery to inform us how he was doing. We called at 2:36pm and they said he was doing good and to pick him up around 4-430pm, but Instead called back at 2:55pm and told us he had passed away.I wish I would have read reviews before we had taken him here, 11 months ago they also killed someone’s pet.

We are new to using the Harvard Vet. They have been so nice. We are bringing our new puppy there. They got us right in when our puppy had an issue. They also didn't do any unnecessary procedures to figure things out. Thank you!

All my pets have been coming here for about 6 years now. I recently brought in my cat for treatment of kidney stones for the second time, and finally paid attention to how serious his condition was. Staff were very kind and patient with both of us, and saved my precious Fergus's life, for which me and my family are eternally grateful.

A few years back our cat Lucky was very sick. I literally called every vet in the state of Wisconsin because this is where we live. However, knowing that my cat was sick and dying they ALL refused to see him. I called Harvard Vet and explained our situation and they asked us to bring him in. We dove the hour drive and learned there was nothing they could do to save lucky. You could see that the vet was clearly upset that he had to tell us this and was very patient while we discussed what to do next. Although we did not bring Lucky home with us that day. They were very helpful in letting is know our options to put him down, along with saying good bye to our friend and the cremation and paw prints we explained to us as well. I will not bring our animals to any other vet because of the kindness we were shown on what was a very hard day for us as a family.

These are straight forward animal care givers. No fluff, no exaggerated niceties, and gave excellent care to my pets. Nice to go to a place with down to earth explanations of what should be expected after surgery of a pet.

We took our dog in who got diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the emergency vet and we got help with confirming the diagnosis. As well as balancing the medications to make sure it wouldn’t hurt her organs. She also developed a chest infection during this time and he was very helpful diagnosing and treating her quickly! Very Very happy!
