“The ladies that run the place are always super friendly and helpful. The homemade sandwiches are good and if you can call ahead, they can make hot food, such as chicken wings, corn dogs, onion rings etc.. There are homemade cookies and a huge variety of candy bars. It's a good stop if you need a pick-me-up while on the road.”

“I'm almost afraid to say it, because this store has a better selection than any store this size should. I want them to succeed, but I don't want them overrun by people hunting whiskey.”

“My family had a large birthday celebration in Abbey Springs and after contacting many carnicerias in the area to cater we ended up trying this store. To say we enjoyed it was an understatement. The level of care, attention to detail and service more than exceeded our expectations! Jose went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Couldn't have been happier with our experience plus the food tasted amazing and the store was large clean and well stocked for anything else we needed. Highly recommend!”

“La Rosita’s at 106 W Summer ST. is a Grocery store that provides quality Mexican food in the Harvard area. They have a Hughes selection of Caned, packaged and freshly made items like Pico de Gallo along with fresh meat and poultry and fresh vegetables. You can find hot dishes like roasted pork and chicharron (fried pork belly with meat) on the weekends (warning- you’ll need a good set of teeth to bite into this delicious salty snack). What you may not know is La Rosita’s also has a restaurant at the back of the store, complete with tables and chairs. They have a good selection of food on the menu, and you can eat in or take-out. I have tried the steak tacos and steak burritos and the food is tasty and filling. The meat is of high quality and not greasy. You could combine rice and re-fried beans to make a dinner for a few dollars more. So, if you’re hungry but don’t know what you want, try La Rosita’s “Restaurant” for some good food.”

“Every Gas Station in every town claims to have "the coldest beer in town." Well I'm here to guarantee that this was the coldest beer I've ever got from any Gas Station, ever. Try it.”
