I hate to leave a bad review as I've been using Raban Tires for a long time. However, I had a very bad experience there with the new manager, Steve, that I feel like this review was warranted. Note: this is for one visit. I've had great experiences there in the past. However, this time I took a car in for an oil change, tire pressure check, fluid fill, (especially the window washing fluid) and asked for a freezing temp check for the radiator fluid. The person at the front desk, who I later found out was a new manager, Steve, was not friendly at all and Made me feel I was disturbing him placing my order; even more that he didn't appreciate my business. But, everyone has a bad day, so I didn't pay too much attention to it. However, when I came to pick the car up he vaguely went over the results. When I asked for more specifics, such as the freezing point for my radiator fluid he responded by saying, " it was clean and there was anti- freeze in it". I asked him again how cold can it get before it froze he informed me, in an argumentive tone, that "there's not any test for that." I told him there was and the situation escalated as the other employees ran for cover. As I was walking out he yelled, "if you find a place who runs that test let me know. An Raban mechanic was outside by my car and I asked him about the test. He told me what I already knew-- which was they had the test equipment to conduct it and he.was not surprised that this ex- manager of Walmart, didn't know as he's not very familiar with auto work. The manager came outside to order the 2 mechanics inside to quit helping. We had just noticed the no one had filled the bone dry window washing container so one was filling it and the other actually doing an antifreeze temp protection test with the equipment that belonged to Raban Tires (which the new manager knew nothing about). I informed him I had found a place that conducted the test and that it was at the company he was managing. The new manager, Steve, is such a detriment to this once impeccable service company. I also discovered he recently fired the service manager who had been there for years. I feel so sorry for the other employees that have to deal with this guy! I won't be back until that guy is gone!
