I love going to Harbor Freight. Been shopping there for many years. Current status of my experiences...Went to go buy 2 things and they were out of both. I went ahead and ordered one and will wait to buy the other. However, every time I have been there, 3-4 times over the last 3-4 months, they have never had it in stock. I will continue to shop there regardless, as they do have nice prices.

When I say the manager Tony is a liar, I don’t mean he keeps his lies to harbor freight stuff. I mean he lies about all sorts of stuff. Every time I talked to him he told a different lie. All the way down to going on break at 10am so he doesn't have to deal with a dissatisfied customer, and then saying he’s dealing with other customers as he’s walking back in the store. All I can say is, if you can’t walk out the store with whatever you’re buying, sleep on it, because they can’t tell you when it will be there, and even if you’ve been waiting a month for whatever you paid for they’ll still fight you on a refund. Tony will tell you he can’t do it, you have to call customer service, and customer service will tell you he’s the only one that can do it. He’ll tell you your item wasn’t on the truck, but customer service will tell you he marked it damaged. Lies upon lies

Friend bought a 72 in tool box from the Hanover park il location order it they tell him it will be in on the 29th of March no tool box they tell him it's shipped will be here 3/1/24 we go there today to get the tool box the store manager Tony says it didn't show up wasn't on the truck and would not help in anyway to resolve it told us to call Customer service was his answer and nothing but lies out his mouth from the minute he walked up to us seeing frist hand how we where treated I and a whole bunch of our friends will not be shopping here anymore and we where spending money in there weekly even if it was just for zip ties or a socket set but tony needs ro learn how to treat is Customer frist and not lie because I'm more pissed off that he is a liarmore then anything

Just like any Harbor Freight.
Employees are friendly and eager to help.
Store is clean, well stocked and everything is easy to find.
Went in for an adjustable hitch. They had exactly what I needed.
Bought the hitch, the ball and a wrench.
Took it out and I realized it wouldn't work for what I needed.
Repackaged everything and went back to return. The cashier (Tom I believe was his name, an older gentleman) was completely understanding and made the return process simple and quick.
We had some friendly chit chat while he was working on my return and made me feel like a valued customer.
