The florist department brought him over a balloon and saved the day! This week when we were grocery shopping they noticed my son looking at the flowers and offered him one flower to take with him and he was thrilled! Awesome individuals with kind hearts. “Definite one of my fav Dollar general stores! Has a large variety of items, well stocked and friendly staff. My only complaint would be that it was hard at times to get around the store due to items being stocked.”
“They had a verity of seasonal decorations, especially Halloween but I think it was out of taste to have Christmas decorations out at the same time. Should wait until after Halloween.”
“I was disappointed that I would have to find a new grocery store when I moved. After shopping at other stores I found I'd rather make the 40minute drive to Hy-Vee than go anywhere else. This location is my favorite and it's always clean. The grocery pick-up has always been a positive experience and the aisles are well organized for shopping in store.”
“There is an employee at krogers in Bartonville I wish I could steal and bring to my job. Her customer service skills are flawless ❤️ Edit post: Her name is Jessyka Searle. Some how my pickup order was missing a bunch of items. She spoke with me for a long time on the phone trying to figure out what happened. She then gave me her personal number so I can text her all my missing items, made appropriate substitutions (or offered credit towards next purchase but subs were fine). She apologized again and wanted to make things right. She was so sweet and so genuine!! I love great customer service!”

“Very large selections and the employees I've interacted with in my visits have been friendly and helpful. I really like their selection of meat and fish. Their produce is always fresh but a little pricey compared to their competitors. Overall a nice shopping experience.”
“Great place for fueling up, offers smart location and easy rewards that can really add up to substantial gasoline savings for those frequent shoppers at Kroger. I wish they would partner with other stations for more places to redeem and earn rewards but too then we are stuck with a few locations but useful points accumulating from Kroger shopping adding up to loyalty rewarding perks.”
