1 star is a vast overstatement. Our mail person screws up daily. Third package in the last month that says delivered but it’s no where. Makes sense considering how much mail I get for other people daily.

Giving one star is being generous. I can honestly say I’ve never had a great experience at the Hampshire Post Office location, but today was especially horrible. I get that it is a Saturday afternoon and close to closing time BUT you are there to help people and do a job that thousands of other people would appreciate to have. The woman saw me about to open the door and said “you can come in and just drop off the prepaid package “ and I asked her “is there a receipt though that can be printed?” And she rudely said “ if you want a receipt you have to wait.” I never had a problem waiting for a receipt but apparently she did. As I stood in line all she did was complain how busy it’s been and that she is “counting down” the hours until close and she “will be locking that door at 12:00pm”. WHO SAYS ALL THAT WHEN YOU HAVE A LINE OF CUSTOMERS THAT CHOOSE TO GO TO THAT LOCATION SO YOU CAN CONTINUE TO HAVE A JOB. I’ve had previously rude service from her and other employees there and this top it off and will never go to that location again. The Gilbert’s post office in the town over has never presented themselves like that, so what is it about this location? Because looking at the ratings of 2.9 stars for Hampshire location clearly states an ongoing issue that is not cared about. Just because it’s a government based job, you don’t have to treat customers with respect and human decency?!!! Hampshire, hire employees that want to work and be there OR at least show some type of humanity in their work ethic to do a job that entails having communication with other people.

Place is absolutely terrible , very very rude employees that work there always seem to be in a mood ! My package was accepted, tracking number etc. How can you lose a package ? I literally handed it right to them and they scanned it right in front of me . Don't ever use this place to mail . They are terrible and don't have a clue what they're doing !

The drivers are normally really nice, but for some reason, they decided to lie about a package. I was home all day in the 18th, and most of the day in the 19th. I got my mail on the 18th, so I know the mailbox was empty. On the 19th, there was a “sorry we missed you” slip dated for the 18th with final notice checked, and no reason for no delivery was marked. My doors were open all day both the 18th snd the 19th, nobody tried coming to my door to deliver anything. Then, I called the help line to try having it redelivered and the article number they put on the slip was wrong and doesn’t register online or speaking with someone. So now not only am I unable to have this redelivered because the article number was wrong and they can’t identify the package, I have to find time to go out there when my schedule completely doesn’t match the post offices schedule. I tried calling the actual post office, and it rings once and hangs up.

Horrible service. Our package was delivered to the wrong address. We never found it. This place always deliver packages to wrong house. We called the toll free number and spoke to the machine service agent with our tracking number but no help. So careful in ordering stuff and using this for shipment. Try FedEx. They do good job and when you call, a person actually can help you.

Unfortunately, Google will not allow for zero star reviews. Even a zero star review would be complimentary relative to the review the lazy, deceptive, and unmotivated stereotypical government employees at the USPS location in Hampshire deserve.A parcel that was sent to me on January 4 from Portland, Oregon got lost after departing a USPS facility on January 5. These things happen, in a vacuum, that is not a big deal. Consequently, I called 1-800-ASK-USPS to request that the parcel (which had a tracking number) be searched for. I provided both my name and my phone number.A few hours later (I have no idea what sort of cross country search could be done in a few hours) my wife received a phone call from this location. The caller (who did not call the phone number I left) chose to misinform my wife and tell her that the parcel was never sent by the sender and that the sender created a tracking number without actually sending anything. However, USPS' own tracking system shows USPS accepting the parcel, processing it through a Portland location, and shipping it out of a Portland location. This leaves two possibilities...1) the USPS employee that called my wife chose to lie to her in lieu of doing actual work...or...2) the sender and a USPS employee from the Portland facility conspired to create a bogus processing itinerary to besmirch the good name of the USPS. The latter is utter nonsense best left to websites that talk about reptile people ruling the world, which leaves us with the first option.I understand my review will change nothing and that the employees relevant to this location will continue to prioritize relaxing on the public's dime over, you know, being self-respecting adults who actually do work while on the clock and receiving compensation and benefits from the public. I type this review to try and steer people toward professional locations such as the one on Randall Road near the Hwy 20 off ramp or the location in Rockford on Harrison Avenue (which is absolutely phenomenal).

I have been going to this post office for years and its always been my favorite. Today I went, there is a new women who was so rude and disrespectful to me I literally couldn't believe it. I had a Pre-Paid shipping label. The post office will provides the shipping envelope, as it was included in the price of the label. This women told me " I can't help you" She wouldn't give me the envelope I already paid for. I told her that this is what the post office has been doing for years. Her response " I don't know who would have done that for you but I'm not going to do it" and she starred at me until I left with no assistance. I would normally never say this, but this women has NO Business working there. The lady behind me in line stood there in disbelief also. The other women that worked there for YEARS, was always so nice and pleasant to people. I want her back immediately.

They loss packages all the time and blame it on someone else. Horrible customer service when you call looking for your missing mail. Have had at least 10 packages lost by them over the past year and a half. There needs to be some serious restructuring at this Post Office.

The people and convenience of having a local post office is great. Always a good experience when I ship packages.
