While visiting with family over 400 miles from home we needed a couple things done on our minivan. Greg got is in quickly, was very communicative about the things that needed attention. He filled us in on the cost before we made decisions to have repairs made and he pointed out things that were critical to have repaired and an issue that needs to be repaired but can wait - so that we were not hit with additional costs. I really recommend this repair shop and plan to have our auto repairs and regular maintenance done when we are in town visiting family in the future. We were very happy with the work and the communication with Greg while repairs were underway.

Thankful for their honesty and good service helping out my daughter with her Battery issue and doing a safety inspection which revealed a tie rod was about to go at any moment! I am on the west coast and read reviews to decide where she should go. Price and service were great! They definitely went the extra mile, hard to find that now days. We recommend these guys! Old school type of people really nice guys. I had a fuel canister and evap purge valve problem and they ordered the parts and put them in. About 3 months later check engine light came on and had to replace the same parts. With them the parts are under warranty and they didn’t charge to replace the same parts for the same problem. Really fair neighborhood mechanic

I've been going to Greg's garage for many years. I've always received great service for a reasonable price. They recently took a look at my daughter's car after an oil change place told her the car had a major transmission leak. After looking over the car, they showed my daughter, while it was up on the lift, there was nothing wrong with her vehicle. And they didn't charge her for the time. I’ve been going here for about a year and a half for my oil changes and car repairs. Greg and the other guys are all really professional, very nice and courteous and they are always on top of their game. I highly recommend you give this place a try the next time you need service on your car or truck. He gives a cash discount and also rents U-Haul trucks and trailers. Thumbs way up! ??

Last November I had both of my cars worked on with Childress because of his great reviews. The first was my trailblazer. I had trans flued leaking. It took him multiple days beyond what was promised to complete, then a day after he fixed it I was driving around and had a loud rattle. I brought it back and he said it was a loose heat shield. What are the odds??? He charged me to put it back on. On my Sienna I had a new battery and oil change. A few days later we left for Florida. As soon as we hit the Florida line, the cruise control went out. Luckily we were a few minutes from a Firestone. We sat for 3 hours for them to do diagnostics only to find there was nothing wrong with the car, just when you replace a battery there is a series of reset steps that needs to be taken and Childress didn't do it. Cost me $70 and 3 hours to have that done. I called Childress and he said he never heard that and would "research" and get back to me. Nothing about sorry for the inconvenience. He must be writing a thesis about the issue he is researching because I still haven't heard back from him. I spent over $2,000 with them and it's the last cent I will spend with them.

Got our brakes done here on the truck. I called & he was able to look at truck within a timely manner. He was polite & helpful. Prices were great. Ford wanted $740 for brakes and I paid about half here. Great service. Thank you!
