“Customer Service knowledgeable and extremely helpful, communicated immediately with store manager Steve on storage needs, Steve reached out to me as the customer to give clarity of unit, great customer service , and confirmation of unit , made it easy for me to move unit over , sent email immediately for me to rent storage online, he was extremely helpful and compassionate during this life changing time with the loss of my mom. I am grateful. Chris made sure what was offered was accurate and assisted with payment and viewing of unit while it was raining , Chris was helpful and compassionate about making sure operations are followed and understood, he was a pleasure to meet”

“I want to give a huge shout out to Kevin and Adam. Saturday my prop bore sleeve went bad on my 1 year old Merc outboard and we were set to take a bunch of people out on Sunday. I put a post on Facebook at 10pm asking where I could get it fixed early Sunday. Kevin (service manager) from Your Boat Club messaged me on Facebook shortly after my post and said they would be happy to take care of it. They have a full service marina and a tech available Sundays from 8am to 3pm. I showed up at 8am and Adam took care of us right away all covered under warranty. Thanks again guys!”
“Metro self storage in Mundelein is by far the best storage facility I have ever seen. I had containers in a storage unit there for six years and not once did I ever see a bug and the tops of my containers never had dust on top of them. Chris and Karen are there to help with anything you could ever need. Even if you live far away, I would recommend the drive to use this storage facility! If you want your items to be stored in a pristine environment, and I mean pristine because it is literally spotless, then use metro storage in Mundelein!!!”

“Smooth drop off and pick up on both ends of our move. In this age of horrible customer service, it's refreshing when you call a business, the owner picks up straightaway, and you can quickly schedule something or get questions answered. That was our experience with UNITS. Also the machine they use to move the pod is cool. I'd definitely recommend using UNITS over using a self storage place you have to drive to. The price is similar, and you only have to load and unload your stuff once.”

“Overall, a good experience. For the most part, Mike was great. Outside storage units overhead doors don't keep water out 100% of the time. Water does at times blow in over the top of the door and was expected. However, while moving out in May 2024, besides discovering a small hornets nest attached to one of the plastic bins in my unit, one of the particle board shelves of my metal storage racks was also water damaged from a "patched up" ceiling leak which apparently losened up on one end and was still dripping, partially ruining the shelf.
Morale of the story: Older units need more maintenance. Maybe ceiling upgrade repairs should be considered to avoid future issues with current and/or future tenants.”
