good dress options but extremely long line for the fitting rooms

We visited the Gurnee Mills location and the customer service is absolutely terrible. Not one person came to ask if we needed assistance as my daughter was looking for a homecoming dress. In fact my husbsnd used his cane to pull a dress from a high rack because NO EMPLOYEE was available, the employees were to busy talking with friends. We went to the fitting rooms and someone went in, they stopped my daughter who had both parents standing next to her as she was ready to walk in the girl told her the fitting room is closed. They had just let the person ahead of her go in. I said the person in front just went in. The girl was rude she said the fitting room is closed she isn't going in. I told her it's 7:40 the store closes at 8. The girl said fitting rooms are closed. I asked where the manager is. I was told up front but it won't make a difference fitting rooms are closed. I went to the manager I said my daughter was stopped with no warning at 7:40 the fitting rooms are closed but she could not get in, she was stopped but the person in front of her went in. The manager said we are busy so closed the fitting rooms she said it was announced at 730, I walked around and told people. I said I was not told or it was said before I came in. The manager said well the store is closing there are announcements outside in the mall. I said in the mall yes..the mall is closing at 8 tonight. No announcements about your fitting room closing early are outside in the main mall because as you said your store is busy. She said the fitting room will not be open for her. I said ok that's fine. I will have her try the dress on out here with her running clothing (yes she can wear on the street) the manager said fine go use the fitting room. I went back to the fitting room. The girl still talking to her friends ignored my 1st statement. The manager said she can go in. I said it a 2nd time with excuse me...she can go in I was again ignored. Her friend she was speaking to earlier when we first tried having our daughter go in began yelling at me you can't talk to her that way. I had not yelled, I had not sworn, I had not belittled her I simply was not agreeing with the situation and went up the chain of command. The girl at the fitting room let our daughter in as the friend continued yelling at me. They finally left as the person who walked into the fitting room just before my daughter tried going in the first time came out...they left together. My daughter picked out a very nice dress. She will look beautiful at homecoming it was of no help of the staff. I asked for the name of the manager after we checked out. They said her name is Beth. I'm not sure why my daughter was the only person cut from the line as someone went in right before her. I'm hoping it's not because she is mixed and they didn't realize it was her mom and dad behind her. There are no returns on the dresses so this dress needed to be tried on. This was a terrible 1st homecoming dress experience for our daughter. We have 2 more high school daughters who will go elsewhere.

I went inside this horrid store with my friend the other day since she had to make a return. While we were there I was handing my friend items to try on while she was inside the fitting room. We finished stepped outside the store for a moment to try and find something else. We ended up coming back to Windsor to try on other items, and there was no one attending the fitting rooms. The fitting room my friend was in wasn’t being used and still had some items that were left from before, so we continued using that fitting room. But a security guard came in to tell us that the manager no longer wanted our business in Windsor. We didn’t receive any explanation as to why, my friend and I had only came inside the store to return an item and buy another item since she had an event to attend to today.

I like the fact that the dresses are set by color but wish it was also organized by size. This makes the shopping experience and process less smooth. Seems like a store that caters more towards women whom wear a small, since that's the majority of sizes I find in-store which can become frustrating. I do realize that there are more sizes available online however it would be nice if more sizes beyond a small were available in store.

super rude workers, whenever you asked them a question they will give you dirty looks and be super mean. One time I tried to call the store regarding a return, and didn’t want to accept. I didn’t know the return policy, but there were super rude and made me feel stupid for asking a question. I tried to call again, and wouldn’t answer my calls. One of the employees just laugh at with the other stupid employee. don’t come here, the store in schaumburg has better staff!!

really pretty and affordable dresses, but staff should be trained more. i’m 16 and i was trying on dresses, and had to stop an employee from coming in my dressing room myself by holding the door closed because they didn’t say anything or knock. when i tried to get a dressing room i saw that they tried to enter full dressing rooms without knocking or saying anything. i was almost naked when they tried to get in, i can’t imagine what would’ve happened if i didn’t close the door in time.

Drove over an hour to go to this mall because it had the stores we wanted. Go into Windsor at 4:27 and are told the store closes in 3 minutes. The hours are 11-7. When questioned they said they were short staffed. Are you saying your staff cannot work an 8 hour day? My daughter was looking forward to finding a dress here for graduation. Guess you will not be getting out business today. Had to go elsewhere. Tired of hearing that as an excuse.

Staff is a mess. Quit your job if you don’t want work the hours you get. Customer service isn’t worth spending your money.

Went for a prom dress. They have a pretty good selection. Reasonable prices. However the staff is not very attentive. I had to go looking for them several times for help.

Nemo is amazing! She shows strong leadership and displays a real true sincerity in succeeding in helping you find exactly what you are looking for. She was charismatic, patient, and shows pride in her work while working simultaneously with multiple customers.

BRITTANY!!!!!Absolutely the best! She was helpful, honest and just had the best personality and customer service! Dress shopping with my daughters can be stressful, but Brittany made the experience fun & took all the stress out of the experience.I highly recommend visiting the store and asking for Brittany!!!!!

Great place to shop for dresses. They have a nice selection and helpful staff. Their dresses range from party/club attire to more upscale event dresses.

We were helped by Nimore (Nemo-cute nickname ☺️) and she was super nice! She helped us with a fitting room and finding another dress in the size I wanted. The same dress she helped us find, she gave us a really helpful tip that changed the way the dress looked and sold us on it. All around very nice person and really helpful. Everyone in the store was great! Unfortunately we didn’t get the cashier’s name that helped us, but she was really nice and personable. They both had really great energy and we need more people like that in the world! Thank you for sharing your positive vibes. ☺️
