This is a really clean Walmart. It seems like a safe part of town. It looks the store has been through a remodel recently.

Don't bother trying to order groceries from this store, and don't bother going there.Their delivery is questionable, at best .Yesterday's groceries never arrived, at all-and they're often late, with questionable "fresh" items, and ridiculous substitutions.I understand that Covid has put a strain, on everyone-But this is the crappiest Walmart, ever.

GREAT MANAGER - KIRK I placed an order online from California for my daughter that just arrived to Illinois. I had a few problems with items not being available. Store manager Kirk took the time to walk to the department section in which my items were and hand picked them for me! It's not everyday you come across such great customer service. I will definitely be ordering from this location often knowing Mr. Kirk is leading such great service. Thank you again!

I will never step foot in a Wal-Mart again. They would not accept a clothing return the next say due to covid. Really? I'm pretty sure that violates my rights as a consumer. FU

Encountered the worse salesperson ever. I asked her a question a couple of times and she totally ignored me, pulled a ladder that she was using to stock items and I almost lost my balance and fell over. The Gurnee store is just plain bizarre. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Shop elsewhere!

Headed too quickly toward the same atrocious store as Fountain Square. There is NEVER any merchandise on the shelves. It reminded me to the national stores in the former Soviet Union.Getting a real cashier is almost a thing of the past. Lines are long, even for self-checkout.And you just saw me waited on, yet you need to check my receipt for a broom and kitty litter? Do I look like a thief, or is it just that you think old white ladies are more compliant? We are through, Walmart of Gurnee. And now you know why.

We visited this Walmart today at 3:30 pm 16 register lanes 2 open. Aweful and no urgency on anyones part to help eliminate the lines there were plenty of employees walking around talking to each other but no one willing to ring a register we won't be back

Awful costumer service, as usual! I'm not sure why I bothered to come back. Not only did the cashier not know how to activate other store giftcards, nor print off an activation receipt for the lady ahead of me, I had the worst time price-matching an item that was on sale at Walmart.com. When the manager finally came, she looked at my phone and didn't want to pricematch the item because the description phrasing on the website was in a different order as the box for the functions of the product. It was the same picture, same quart size, same functions, same original price...My receipt had 8 voided out items, one being another item scanned twice. Meanwhile, the line was backing up outside the lanes. Next time, I'll just go to Target, where they are more pleasant, pricematch without hassle or huffiness and know how to work a register without having to call the manager for every little thing during the busy season.

The store was clean and organized surprisingly. I had to ask a stock guy for assistance to get something from the lowest shelf way in the back since i have a bad hip he got it for me but with a snarky smart a** your welcome sir. And as i walked away he was saying something to the other stock guy and they where laughing at me but its walmart i guess to be expected and the checkout guy was not friendly and rude ignorant more like it no surprise tho

Shout out to Lester the self checkout associate! I was there 6/22 got some snacks and pulled out some cash back and left Walmart...about a mile down the road BOOM...we forgot the cash back!! My wife immediately called, Jennifer the manager was on it! We raced back to the Walmart and she said we were lucky...because LESTER swiftly took action after his eagle eye noticed my $40 was there flapping in the wind ready for the taking...but no, oh no Lester saved the day! Seriously tho thanks man!

I bought a PS4 pro at this location and when I got home it was a old scratched up normal PS4 . I brought it back the next day and they refused to take it back so now I'm out 430.92 ..and nobody at the store would even attempt to help or look into the situation... this is ridiculous and needs to be taken care of!!!

After a terrible experience trying to get a prescription filled at the Grayslake Jewel-Osco late last night using a GoodRX coupon I went to this Walmart this morning and had a very good experience with their professional pharmacy staff. They didn't have enough of the meds on hand to fill my whole prescription, but they gave me enough pills to carry me over until their new supply arrives at the end of the week and took the coupon without question. I've never been a Walmart shopper, but I will be a Walmart pharmacy patron from now on.

Walmart is Walmart on its best day. So I expect the crowds and the strange atmosphere. I don't even mind the random children standing outside the door selling candy with no uniform, no sign and no adult in sight. The part that bothers me is rude employees. Like, is it my fault if you don't like your job? Don't be a pain in my butt! But on this trip, 2 out of the 4 employees I encountered were actually helpful. One actually looked for the life preserver that I wanted to buy and the hair was cheerful and pleasant. I was looking for swimming stuff, which is officially out of season now. As a result, I got a bathing suit for my daughter for $2.00 and little baby swim shoes for $5.00. So I guess guest was a fair trade off? Better the Devil you know than the Devil you don't right?

We were visiting from California so I was excited to see this Walmart down the street from our hotel conveniently sitting in a center it was clean and stocked as far as I could see we got every thing we needed to cook dinner at our hotel
