The pharmacy drive thru is a joke. I’ve been waiting in line for 15 minutes and have not moved an inch.

I changed my insurance and unfortunately I asked the prescription to be sent to Walgreens. It has been 6 days and they have not filled my prescription yet and they are blaming the insurance company and it is the same message all the time. No more Walgreens,

Worst experience ever at 5:20 pm 6/19 the shift lead wouldn’t accept my return because it was passed 30 days. I feel like it was because of my race, he thought I stole it. But at the Walgreens I work in we do returns passed 30 days as store credit. There was no valid reason not to accept the return someone that judged people based of race shouldn’t be working at Walgreens. Makes me want to stop working for this company knowing we have staff that racially profiles people. Worst part is that he was a shift lead and was abusing his power

No one could get prescriptions because the pharmacist said their computers were down all day. Use a different pharmacy, not reliable!

Just the worst service, and not at all geared towards customers.
For one thing, why not spend the oodles of money Walgreen's surely has on fixing the phone at the drive through so you're not stuck screaming through a hole in the glass, sensitive information at that. Also,I will never understand taking away the second line, but for the fact that they're never staffed enough anyway.
But this is the least of the issues at this particular Walgreens.
When they don't have something in stock, they don't bother letting a customer know, they just say nothing. Then, they now have the "warehouse" filing prescriptions, instead of themselves, and delaying prescriptions by a week or more for no apparent reason, and zero explanation.
And if all that isn't enough, there's Pam.... by far the most obnoxious, rude woman I've encountered yet in a Walgreens. She is condescending and snotty and would rather waste time telling a customer how to react to her rude behavior, than get costumers in and out quickly.
Absurd.
I've reached my limit with Walgreens, off to better options. I'll be shocked if this location and others aren't out of business in a year or 2 and they clearly don't care.

This review is for Shoshana at the pharmacy. Thanks for your hard work that you had to do in getting me tested for Cov id, since stupid me went to the wrong Walgreens. I really appreciate it.

Anybody who goes here immediately switch to the Gurnee Sam's Club Pharmacy down the street. I was just at this Walgreens, and of the 4 people ahead of me in the pick up line, the employees wasted vastly unnecessary amounts of time with 3 customers. 2 of those 3 walked out without getting their prescriptions filled, and the 3rd took 20 minutes of an employee's time switching from a 1 month to a 3 month supply only to find out her insurance wouldn't cover 3 months. So they had to redo (new paperwork, new insurance billing, new pill bottle, etc.) the prescription all over again--back to one month. Wouldn't insurance coverage be the first thing an employee confirms before wasting so much time, including the pharmacist's? It's very possible that the 4th customer ahead of me also ran into problems, but by that point I had mentally blocked the situation out of my mind.I blame Walgreens corporate more than any individual employee for letting things get this bad. Admittedly, given how broken our healthcare system and Walgreens are, it's very possible this is an above average Walgreens. But it pales in comparison to Sam's Club.

Like every walgreens, severely understaffed with excessive wait times for a single prescription. Over 3 hour wait time. The ONLY pharmacist staffed will go on break WHILE you are waiting in line to pick up your script, so you end up having to wait an additional 30+ minutes for them to return. Unacceptable.

This review is for the Walgreens pharmacy. Twice this pharmacy failed to be able to give me a same day prescription. Both times the order was sent in the morning and I spoke to the pharmacy several times asking to pick it up. The prescriptions were in stock and I was told I could pick it up. 9+ hours wasn’t enough time to fill it.One employee told me my prescription was discontinued and changed my medication. Pam (thank you!) was able to fix this error after I had been on the new prescription and ordered me the correct prescription. It seems that they are severely understaffed. The interactions I’ve had have not been very friendly. I’m going to assume the staff is overly stressed. The one star review is to hopefully get Walgreens to properly staff the pharmacy.

Called the pharmacy 3 times. Once mid morning, once mid afternoon and also early evening. Each time was put on hold for awhile but no one picked up.I understand everyone is busy but not answering the customer's phone call 3 times is not good business.

Pharmacist told me about a coupon to use on my prescription. I had no idea it was an option, she saved me about 80% off the cost. Also, they were all super friendly here.

Very unorganized at best. I had a RX called in by my doc and this Walgreens kept saying they never got the order. I made a total of 10 phone calls back to the doctors office and to the pharmacy at this location - I continually got the same answer from both sides - the doctors office and the Walgreens Pharmacy - it was never called in. Two personal stops ins into this Walgreens, 24 hours later and 10 phone calls later, Walgreens still stated it wasn’t called in. Here Walgreens kept it in their system and wouldn’t release it into their system so I would know where this RX sat because they were too busy. I asked to speak to the store mgr on this and Justin came to talk to me and confirmed he was a store Mgr. He stated they are just too busy and there is nothing he can do about the limbo that was caused to me by their process. Note Justin is not a store mgr rather a Supervisor I later learned. AnnaElise is the District mgr of this store. She never returned the em I sent to her.Total disrespect to the client base and poor, at best, customer care

Pharmacy is crowded and understaffed at most any time. It's always busy. You WILL wait, and you will not be acknowledged while doing so.
Frozen foods and cold beverages available. Seasonal goods year round. Handicap parking, wheelchair entrance, pharmacy drive up window.
