The products look decent however I ordered swatches to receive digitally printed photos and not actually wood samples. I mean really? How are you supposed to feel texture and finish? And it was fairly difficult to find the company address which I always find a bit suspicious.EDIT TO RESPOND:Where is your address listed on your web site?Requesting swatches to any normal person would be actual wood samples not digitally printed paper. Come on. Give me a break.

I am beyond amazed at this table! Even my picky husband LOVES it. The bench is soo comfortable for adults and obviously, my kids love it.The first table I ordered wasn’t quite right, and they were AMAZING and went WAY above and beyond to make sure I had the right table. I wish all places had such a kindness to their customers and a dedication to getting things right.The craftsmanship is perfect. Not an error in it. I look forward to buying more!

Our shelving unit arrived safely, everything was in order, the color and finish of the unit were perfect, and it was cut exactly to size as requested. It’s now been installed in our library and is absolutely beautiful. We could not be happier with it. We look forward to working with Urban Wood Goods again.

Ordered an L-shaped desk through Melissa at Urban Wood Goods and the customer service with her was unbelievable! She was willing to make edits and tweaks to our design and responded in a timely manner to all emails. Can't wait to see the desk when it arrives!

I purchased a custom table for my long but narrow dining area. The table top first off is gorgeous and way more durable than expected. I like that the wood has age and wear but the bourbon finish makes it refined. My contractor was here when it arrived and even he was impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail. I was a little worried that the steel legs would skew a bit too industrial especially as I am pairing it with a pink settee, but love them. What is so interesting is that in the box they look grey but in my kitchen they reflect the color of my wood floor so they look almost golden. It was an unexpected delight and I am so glad I didn’t get them painted black. Melissa was kind and helpful and made the ordering process easy. I had been searching for a table for over a year and am so glad that I went with urban wood goods.

I ordered a dining table and bench with the Bourbon stain from Urban Wood Goods and I'm so pleased. From my initial inquiries, through the the buying process and the final delivery, the customer service was excellent. Melissa was very responsive. The table and bench arrived ahead of schedule and they are absolutely beautiful. These are quality products. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and I would definitely consider buying from them again.

I looooove my new dining table and matching bench! I communicated with Melissa from UWG and she was so very helpful. I specified every little thing I cared about and it came exactly as I wanted. I'm confident this table will last a lifetime. In the future I can refinish it if need be because it is real wood.It is 1.5 inch thick, mixed hardwoods, dark walnut finish. I love the X-style legs because it leaves plenty of knee room and the bench and chairs can be pushed in. I requested them to be painted black so black chairs will match.I would absolutely do business again!

We had an odd-sized place to fill in our new home. We chose Urban Wood Goods because of the flexibility of choosing the exact size and finish we needed. Our completed piece was delivered today and it was beyond our expectations. There are no words to sufficiently express how pleased we are with this piece. The customer service was above and beyond; the quality is outstanding--the piece is so well made from the finish to the legs and you would be hard-pressed to find this craftsmanship in any pre-made piece; the shipping was also phenomenal--it was shipped in its own crate made specifically to fit this piece (much like a piece of fine art--which it is). In summary, the quality is unparalleled and it was totally worth the price and the wait. I am attaching a picture; however, it can't come close to the piece in person as you would need to see the finish and feel the weight of it. Don't hesitate ordering from Urban Wood Goods.

I ordered a beautiful desk from Urban Wood Goods and could not be happier. It is absolutely stunning. I found UWG because I wanted my desk to be reclaimed wood, sustainability is very important to me. The craftsmanship on my piece is perfect, the carpenters managed to strike the perfect balance of choosing boards that created a cohesive piece, while also picking pieces that were different enough to highlight the reclaimed nature of my desk. I keep finding wonderful details on each piece of wood. It was true to advertised size letting it fit perfectly in a nook I'm creating as my office. It makes working from home just a little bit better knowing I get to sit at this beauty every day.
I ended up reaching out to them to get advice on which finish to get for my desk and they answered promptly. I went with the Oil skip planed and it really highlights the features of the wood. Obviously with the pandemic it was not the speediest of delivery times, but honestly worth the wait.
Will definitely be looking to get other furniture made by UWG.

These are the custom shelves we received from Urban Wood Goods and I have to say - they are just incredible and exactly the design and dimensions we asked for. The communication was excellent from the initial planning through to the final shipping. Up close the end product is just stunning, the wood is gorgeous and the attention to detail apparent. These are high quality pieces and we are certainly very glad we went with Urban Wood Goods to design and build the bookshelves we always wanted.
