Friendly customer service, excellent quality and selection, and located somewhere easy to get to with plenty else nearby. Tilly's is one of my favorite stores to swing by whenever I'm in Gurnee Mills.

If I could do less stars I would. Bought a shirt from the gurnee mills Illinois store. The shirt had a hole. Called before hand to see if we could exchange, they said no problem bring it in. Went to store and manager was beyond unhelpful. Erin (the manager) solution =none. After arguing with her for a good 10 minutes her solution was call security who asked ME if I wanted to file a complaint. We had all necessary items for the return -(tags, receipt and NEW unworn shirt with a hole). She stated nothing she says is right and she has given me all the options to the security guard. The security guard then asked why she cannot return the item. She said I just can't it is against store policy.She stated we could not exchange it, because they no longer had the shirt the shirt. My daughter said that is not true, I asked her to go get the shirt. She did same size everything. Erin then took the shirt and said I cannot sell this one I have to damage it out and pulled the shirt from my hands. I have spend easily $1000. in the last month.... We liked to support a local company as we are from so cal, but when you management and employees treat customers like yours does and flat out steal from them, t why should we? Called customer service number for corporate given to me by Erin and it was a dead end number and let the phone ring forever no answer. Tried several times throughout day to no avail. I called the store this morning and had the manage on duty today Brittany (who was VERY apologetic and helpful!) give me the correct number .... awaiting a resolution from customer service. Seriously, why waste people's time. What an awful job you are doing Erin. You not only represent Tilly's, but you would not have a job without customers. I am not saying the customer is always right, but this was a crazy woman's power trip to treat others poorly in order for what? Hoping you learn to properly manage as if you work in our office, you would have been fired on the spot!
