Been a member since it was 29.99 and seen a price increased, emailed and called about it and they said they will get back to me and never did, never got an email why it was increased. Money hungry for sure

I’m happy to workout again in Ryse after 1 year I love what they have done in upgrades .This gym is the best in the area by far.

Been a member for over two years and just cancelled. Ryse can be a great place to workout if you go late in the evening or early in the morning. Management has fulfilled some of what they promised over the last two and a half years when I signed up. Renovations are slowly but surely happening and the gym is expanding.I was told when I first signed up I was ‘locked in’ to a $29.99 membership for lifetime and would not be affected by price increases. At the end of January 2024 my membership and my wife’s membership increased to $39.99. Although I have a membership at Ryse I workout at another gym and have kept my membership at Ryse so I have another option. I asked my wife to check why the prices increased for us the next time she was at Ryse.Im giving Ryse a 1 star review for the way the owner, Justin, responded to my wife when she asked about the price increase. He told her ‘she did not need an explanation’ for the price increase and should have checked her email. The emails about price increase? I haven’t received an email from Ryse since 10/18/2022 and neither has my wife. Why belittle your customer when they simply ask you a question? Between both of our memberships, I have paid Ryse over $2000 in the last two and half years (monthly membership/yearly fees) and have had no real questions or complaints for the staff. How is it that when one of your members has a question about a price increase, no matter how many emails went out, you can’t take two minutes to give a professional response? Based off other reviews this isn’t isolated.

worst gym i’ve ever been to. music is so loud you can’t even keep a convo even if you wanted to, limited space, management is rude and money hungry over this rinky dink gym, and you can’t cancel even tho you give a reasonable reason. there’s no air conditioning whatsoever so you’re sweating bullets by just standing there. save your money and don’t come here!

Gym is of decent size and they are expanding. Decent equipment, however you can’t walk 5 feet without tripping over someone else tripods. Everyone wants to be an “influencer” and sits on machines for 30+ minutes trying to post the “next big” thing.Also the expansion includes a barbershop, while everyone still waits for a sauna to be built. I thought this was an athletic club not a mall.

Owners are greedy, money hungry people.. unfortunately they’ll take decades to get back to you when you want to cancel your membership. I’ve moved from town to town before and previous gyms never asked me for “proof of new address” so that I don’t have to pay to cancel. I’d stay away from this gym at all costs. It’s always packed either way.

Awesome gym, no fitness gym in lake county has the type of equipment and atmosphere that Ryse has. If you’re looking for a gym that motivates you to give you your best workout, this is the one.

Gym equipment is nice. However, the gym is almost always overcrowded and lacks space. Also, the gym's membership deal is weird. Having to be locked into a contract for a year is bizarre to me. I have also tried emailing them about cancelling my membership multiple times and they have yet to respond to me.

Nice gym nice setup but staff not so great !!! I was considering this for a weekend gym but after talking to the staff about membership options I was completely disappointed. They lack customer service.

Management will lie to you and tell you they froze your membership, and then continue to charge you. If you have a problem, don’t expect to get good customer service and fast replies. It took two weeks over email for them to tell me they froze my account and give me a refund, but then charged me AGAIN for the next month. Truly disappointed by the customer service at this gym because I really liked working out here. Poor management won’t keep me here though.

Do not trust this business with your credit card information! This gym is ghetto at BEST! At first it was ok with it and its janky keyless entrance! The gym is constantly under construction and honestly was ok at first, very power lifting style vibe. The restrooms are cleaned daily but the teenage workers usually use an over powering amount of cleaner to the point where the smell can make you sick! I'm not sure how they clean the turf in the gym but I'm assuming they don't. Half the treadmills are broke and some of them even shock you sometimes. The equipment is also very outdated. Trash is constantly left around by members. It's obvious they're putting their money towards the remodeling and not new equipment, cool. All manageable flaws I feel like! My issue started when I became pregnant the construction wasn't safe for me and I basically stopped going to the gym in May! So I called to cancel my membership. They said email! So I emailed they took a month to reply that's cool! They also changed the email after another month went by! I called an emailed again!This should have been enough! But no they charged me May, June, July, August, September and October! I don't play with my money. If someone calls to cancel a member ship it shouldn't a hassle! I didn't care if there was even a cancellation fee! I have not walked into that gym since before March when I found out I was pregnant! But even after calling in May! They told me my yearly ( need to me ) membership was up in September! Cool so why did they still charge me September and October?! Military be aware! If you leave the area and they pull this bs it'll be hard to cancel! I also don't get the issue you really need my extra monthly membership? Business hurting that bad?? Just cancel my s***!

Literally the best gym I’ve ever been too, plus with the expansions coming soon (a sauna, basketball court, more turf area) perfect gym.
