This locations ONLY ATM has been down for months now, and they claim they "called the company responsible for fixing it." In Novemeber... they still keep the green light on above it, so you come by just to realize they're so lazy that it's still out of order in February. This is crazy and makes me wish I could just change banks so I can actually have a chance to use an ATM without a fee!

If I could give a FAT ZERO I WOULD!!! So I deposited a settlement from a car accident into my account and was told that the funds would be available within 24 business hours. I was not too happy about how I ended up with this bank in the first place and I’ll be honest it was their false marketing talking about “earn up to $600.00” with qualified requirements but after a few months I learned that was only for ppl that will keep $25,000 in their account regularly. And let’s just say I knew at that point I had an issue. Well while speaking with the banker in the branch I advised that the terms should be clearer and I also wanted to know why I couldn’t cash my checks there in the past. I would hold on to my sons child support checks and when it’s time to buy things that they need I’d just cash them all at once five checks none of which were over 180 days old. He said well ppl don’t just hold on to checks and I said yes some ppl do and at this point I said it’s cool that matter was resolved I just started directly depositing them using the app. So back to the settlement that I was there to deposit, so while walking out of the bank I received an email stating there was a hold on the check and I thought nothing of this. Well 24 business hours passed and I didn’t understand where the funds were so maybe 3 days later I called the bank. The young man I spoke to just kept apologizing after telling me this check was an substantial amount…. Sir the amount of that check I being in monthly so it’s not substantial I asked for a supervisor. Well here we go we get Ms Grace the Supervisor of wait CORPORATE SUPERVISOR in her words.. she sounded so unbothered not a single my apologies no empathy no nothing everything that I said she contested when I say your banker should have not told me that the wait on the check would be 24 business hours she tells me she doesn’t know why he would tell you a timeframe our bankers don’t know that info. I ask her again for her title and she stated she was Grave the Supervisor. I say you sound so unbothered and like you could careless of what I am saying she says I apologized what else can I say and at that point I say you know what how do I get my check back and close the account she says oh call the place that issued you the check they can cancel and reissue you one. Unfortunately you cannot get the check back it is already processed and I say no it isn’t processed long story short nothing but lies and bullish from this bank. I’m going back to Chase where the customer service is always priority!

We saw an ad for a good money market rate at Huntington bank. We called twice to confirm the rate and asked if we needed anything before coming in. Once we arrived, we were told we needed a promo code. We were never told about any promo code on the phone. I asked the person in charge if it was our fault for not asking about a promo code on the phone. To my disbelief he responded with, yes it was our fault. Needless to say we walked out. This bank looks run down and unstaffed and we see why it has such bad reviews. Do not recommend.

BEWARE OF THIS BANK... ESPECIALLY USING THE ATM MACHINE OUTSIDE. ITS ALWAYS BROKEN AND THEY ARE ALWAYS DOING SOME TYPE OF MAINTENANCE TO IT. DURING THAT TIME THEY WILL BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY OFF COMPLETELY WITH NO SIGNS OR ANY KIND OF HEADS UP. TODAY WHEN THIS HAPPENED TO ME FOR THE 3RD TIME NOW, I HONKED MY HORN MORE THAN 3 TIMES... NO ONE MOVED AND ONE OF THE MEN FROM THE BANK CAME OUT AND YELLED "THEY ARE BALANCING THE ATM" YELLED THIS AT ME AS IF I WERE SUPPOSED TO KNOW. I'VE ONLY BEEN WITH HUNTINGTON SINCE THEY TOOK OVER TCF AND THIS HONESTLY MAKES ME WANT TO REMOVE ALL MY MONEY AND BANK ELSE WHERE. ALSO, AFTER THAT MAN FROM HUNTINGTON SCREAMED AT ME I NATURALLY YELLED BACK AND HE PROCEEDED TO TALK MORE ISH AND CALL ME A NAME AS HE WALKED BACK IN THE BANK... VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!!

I too would give this zero or negative stars if possible. The Bank Officers in this branch are not very knowledgeable or helpful. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The Branch Manager is very rude and supports his Officers even when they're wrong. I personally wouldn't have anything to do with Huntington National if it was the last bank on earth. If you have a car loan, you better re-finance it if you ever sell your car privately!!!

Thank you Hifza Malik for your fabulous time and help for setting up my online banking.Prior to visiting your branch, I went to a huntington branch on green bay Rd and they treated me very bad and the customer service was very poor up there.I would say this branch has best professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly tellers.

I always have exceptional service at this branch, I have uncommon name and they greet me with my first name. I feel very welcome every time I come. I really don't understand what you could wish more from those guys! Seriously! If I could give six star, I would! Love a cozy feel, no corporate attitude you could get from big bank branches. I am happy I was referred to this branch, I am grateful for having Huntington Bank branch in Gurnee!

If i could give this a zero i would. if you can help it DON'T bank here. I was depositing money for my mom while she was out of time via the night drop and they lost the money I put in the night drop, you read that correctly THE BANK LOST THE MONEY!!! My mom called customer service and the guy treated her like she was stupid. First he asked if I got a receipt from the night drop, then he told her that she needed a dispute form and she searched for it and there was no form and the guy had her search for it again while deciding that she must have been too stupid to know how to spell the word "dispute" so he tried to spell it for her and treated her like this was her first time in a computer. Like I said very horrible experience, and it wasn't even for my account because I don't bank there but I have forever been turned off from ever possibly dealing with these people again, you should too. again if i could give it zero stars i would even though they deserve -100 stars.
