I’ve bought multiple batteries here and he’s always been very helpful. I brought in my battery which I thought was weak, and he tested my battery and explained the state of charge, and the CCA versus the rating when new.
I could have probably tried to recharge the battery, but it was pretty old so I went ahead and replaced it.
He was great about filling out the warranty form and explained everything very carefully to me.

Had motorcycle battery issue. Owner ran multiple test determined battery failed completed warranty and provided new battery. Excellent customer service. Thanks

BATTERIES PLUS BULBS!
I went here for a battery change of my watch. The owner Mr. Chauhan was extremely helpful and polite. He told me ahead of the time about the wait times. He changed the battery much faster than anticipated. YOU CAN’T BEAT THEIR PRICES ;)
I’m not going anywhere else for my battery ? needs. The store is extremely well organized and clean. They do offer a station for disposing old batteries. Do call the store for your questions.

The owner is extremely rude. Does not care about frenchise agreement refuses to take core batteries because i purchased new batteries from another location because another location was $15 cheaper per battery. Stay away from this location the owner is price gauging!!!!!!! On the phone with corporate rep now

Outstanding Service, Fair Pricing and Excellent Employee at Battery Plus, Gurnee, Illinois. I was happy they had quality Marine Batteries in stock, fully charged and reasonably priced. Employee even got a at dolly so I could easily transfer the 65 lbs. battery to my vehicle.

Disappointed!!!! always had a really good experience shopping from this store chain until now. Store manager was really rude with our associate trying to take advantage of her. This store would definitely not be recommended to any family member or friend!!

Not a company owned store and doesn't follow batteryplus rules refused want to take a return that was bought from a company store was refused and when called original purchasing store was told they would call him and see if he will take it... your already embarrassed that you were told you could return any where specifically asked about the Gurnee store for being close and still was refused by owner... it sucks he even asked why I was returning i said he was closer he shrugged and siad he can't take it and wouldn't write refused return because he knows he was in the wrong. Went all the want to pleasant Prairie just to return which is father than both the Gurnee store and Vernon hills store just so I didn't feel like an hinder to return something I didn't need.

I called to asked about battery recycling and what options exist for fixing batteries for my camera. The owner was extremely rude and went on a mini emotional tirade.I don’t know if owner was just having a bad day, but I don’t recommend this store for their bedside manner.Edit (after owner response): I gave him the opportunity to respond on the phone. It was met with silence, then, “may I help you with anything else?”

Bhushan is always very knowledgeable and helpful. Needed battery for my back-up sump pump and he explained exactly what I needed and how to install. Neither Home Depot or Ace Hardware could help me! Highly recommend and they have a lot more than just batteries!
