“Mr. Jose fixed it right away the first time. What needed to be fixed, he fixed. The air conditioning needed a new valve and the timing needed to be changed out with a tensioner. Last year I brought it to a mechanic in Waukegan and the mechanic didn't fix the timing belt and tensioner properly. Jose did it right the first time. Super nice family Guy. He's my new mechanic. “This business was recommended to me by John's Auto repair when he couldn't solve my exhaust problems. I dropped the car off early in the morning, but seeing as they were swamped, they gave me an estimate almost three hours later. We agreed to a price and they went to work. I arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon and they were still having problems with the repair. I stayed until almost closing time, because they had to make sure my system was complete. Since I waited so long, they gave me a discount on the bill. You can't ask for more. Great service and honesty.”

“While traveling from MN to IL, we hit something in the road and ruptured the gas tank in an '09 Rav4. We were towed to MacLagan Auto after hours by AAA. I was at their mercy and warned that finding a gas tank was going to be an issue and may lead to more repairs. MacLagan looked for gas tanks, including checking junk yards with no success. Nothing was available locally and we were scheduled to leave town in 2 days. Then they did research and found someone that could instead repair the tank, saving me time and considerable cost.
Being from out of town and not having options they could have taken advantage of the situation. Instead they went over and above to find a solution to take care of the problem at a reasonable cost and doing it right away to keep us on schedule.”

The explanation of the vehicle and its features was very well done. The vehicle pricing was very good. I was told they're possibly getting a new building down the road so if managed correctly it could be a nice dealership.”
