It was a good setup but could use allot more to expand. Receptionist were exceptional. LOL the tattoo display was the largest area. It was good though.

Very neat place to visit and see what sailors have endured over the years and how far things have advanced from the earliest days.

Was here for for son’s Boot Camp Graduation. As a Navy Veteran who graduated from Great Lakes 30 years ago, my family and I walk thru and had a great time. My wife and youngest son were amazed with the entire museum! We did take a guided tour and loved it. Got to talk to some Shipmates and traded war stories while waiting on our newest Sailor. There was no wait, no tickets and it is completely free. Everyone was great and helpful! If you want a little history and see how Sailors lived and some traditions; go and enjoy.

Well, it's free! That was the best part.Otherwise, the museum is very small and has 3 sections to walk through. One is about tattoos, one is boot camp and the last was life on a ship which was the coolest part in my opinion.

Excellent museum to learn about the history of the American Naval Sailor throughout history! The curator and volunteers gave excellent explanations and stories of the Navy during our field trip. The exhibits were well done and provided our students with a peek inside the life of a sailor from the 1800s to today. I highly recommend a visit for families and students! We will definitely be back to visit!

Staff was super helpful ,informative, he seemed to truly love his job. He gave a family with kids some sailer hats and coloring books to help the family keep them a bit busy while we waited for our loved one

Cool little museum to spend an hour at. Good insight into what the sailors go through in training. Well maintained and good info.
