540 Barron Blvd, GrayslakeI brought my dog to Silver Dog Grooming for the first time today. They did such a WONDERFUL, EXCELLENT job! My dog Simon is a rescue who was so thin when we rescued him. I'd taken Simon to a big box dog grooming salon and they couldn't fully groom him as he was scared, reactive and full of anxiety. Rafael welcomed Simon in a calm, loving manner. After Simon's bath and dry, Eva spoke to Simon in a soothing voice and was patient with Simon's anxiety and fear. Eva did a beautiful, thorough job! I am so thankful for Silver Dog Grooming! I'm definitely bringing Simon back. I recommend Silver dog in the highest, most positive way! Lynn D.

Love on a Leash Grooming Salon

00000000, GrayslakeLove seeing Ruth! She's so good with my 13 year old poodle mix. He's very sweet but doesn't always like to leave me. At some bigger places afterwards he'd get diarrhea. She's kind and gentle with him and he doesn't mind going and he always looks so good after! She cares about him. A vet didn't even notice something she pointed out so obviously. Highly recommend her as a great person to go to for your dogs grooming, you're in good hands! And I love how she says it'll be 2 hours and it is!

The entire practice has been outstanding since I got him. I know my puppy is in great hands under their outstanding care. This practice is excellent at handling last minute appointments and very responsive to any inquiries. I look forward to watching Hooper grow under their care and nurturing.

1490 E Belvidere Rd, GrayslakeLove these guys. I’ve been a customer of the Grayslake Animal Hospital for 16 years. All three of my cats got care from Dr. Kevin Marion. He’s such a wonderful vet and a very nice person. He was always upfront with me about illnesses and treatment plans. They even worked with me financially if the expense was over my budget. There’s an after hours on call Vet that I’ve had to call sometimes. They were wonderful in fitting me in for mild emergencies the next day. I can’t say enough good things. I highly recommend this place.

1810 E Belvidere Rd, GrayslakeThis place was great! We went at 4PM on a Saturday, so if you go then, expect a wait because it seems like they only had one doctor, but it was worth the wait. Dr Ray(hope I'm spelling his name right) was great! Incredibly knowledgeable and transparent. My guinea pig Lorelai had blood coming out of her, so after calling, they told me to bring her in. They didn't force anything on me and were open with the options available. We ended up opting to have the x-rays taken and found out she had calcium stones she was trying to pass. Dr Ray sedated her and managed to get the two out that were bothering her and informed us that she has more. He basically saved her life tonight, and for that, I'm eternally grateful.

A special thank you and high recognition to managers Holliday and Colin who do such a great job running this place. Pepsi has been attending almost 2 years now and these young people deserve a raise maybe from the owners? For sure, kudos from me for taking such good care of him when I go into the office 3 days a week. Thank you and keep up the great work caring for our buddies!

Tops Kennel
1460 E Belvidere Rd, GrayslakeIf I could give 100+ stars I would ! Vinny is our second German Shepherd & it has been over a decade since we have had a puppy. We couldn't wait to bring him home and have him join our family. From the moment Vinny came home we really struggled with his reactivity/aggressive behavior which he began exhibiting at just 9 weeks old. The older he got, the worse the behavior became. He was pretty darn intimidating. We couldn't bring Vinny on walks, allow him to interact with family & friends and trips to the vet were absolutely horrible with the way he behaved. But the part that was the hardest was that we couldn't have people in our home without Vinny barking & lunging at anyone who entered our home. We tried other trainers & any progress that we made outside of the house did not carryover into our home. Which is where we needed it the most. Before finding Tops we found a different local training center & after thousands of dollars spent on day training & a two week board & train - not being able to transfer training to our home - which is where Vinny struggled the most, was horribly defeating. When Vinny turned 6 months old we decided we'd try Tops as we really couldn't stand to think this was going to be our lives as well as Vinny's. Feeling so desperate & fearful we'd never be able to have family & friends over unless we put Vinny in his crate.. (and even then- Vinny would bark & act aggressively while in crate) We really felt so hopeless. By luck and the grace of God we found Krista at Tops Kennel, who has been in business for nearly 50 years ! After Vinny completed his board & train we are amazed at how much better he's doing - we can have people in our home and not I have to worry that Vinny is going to lunge or bark at them. In short, we cannot recommend their business & our Trainer, Krista, enough!! The results have been, and continue to be, just amazing and incredible. We have been able to take Vinny to local stores, parks, walks & have had tons of visitors over to our home where we meet our guests at the door & welcome them inside & he's doing so great! Better than we ever expected! The entire staff is friendly, the trainers partner with you & your beloved furry friend. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. If you are considering enrolling your dog in any of their training programs, just do it. You will not regret it! We could not be happier. Krista is the absolute best & even though our board & train is over - we still connect about Vinny as she cares just as much about his success as we do ! Tops Kennel in Grayslake is the best & Krista has been the biggest blessing for our family! #grateful for her & Tops !

Front Building, 1460 E Belvidere Rd, GrayslakeI needed emergency grooming because my dog stuck his face in a burr bush and wouldn’t let me pick them out. I called and they were able to get him in right away! They took great care and were able to get them all out without shaving his face.

Happy Pup Manor
23675 W Chardon Rd, GrayslakeWe sent our 13 week mini Bernedoodle pup, Luca, for 2 weeks of board and train to Happy Puppy Manor on the recommendation of a friend and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience. We chose to drop him off so we could tour the facility and knew immediately we had made the right choice. Every staff member was so welcoming and kind and the facility was spotless and spacious. There was not one doubt my pup was in great hands! We received many check-ins over the 2 weeks from his trainer Tracy (calls, videos, pictures and progress reports) so I always knew what was he doing during his time there. He came home with so many solid new commands and better behaved. ? This was the exact training foundation I wanted for Luca. He’s been home for almost a week and we have easily carried on with the suggestions from Tracy and the difference in Luca continues to evolve.
We are also planning on enrolling him in additional, more advanced training.
I would highly recommend Happy Puppy Manor to everyone!

I have been a customer for years and finally placed my first catering order for my daughter’s birthday party, the process was simple and easy. Pick up was fast and speedy. All the guests LOVED the sandwiches and pasta salad and the presentation was beautiful! Plus I got to try some of my favorite sandwiches and labrettis in smaller portions. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Otherwise, everything else is top quality! Be careful when ordering this “build your own burger.”? Food is great for a decent price. Service is kind of slow, usually because of the kitchen. Ambiance is in the works from what it seems. We've gone at least 3-4 times and it's slowly getting better.
