The lack of professionalism from the staff was evident from the very beginning. My experience with this daycare has been extremely unsatisfactory. I don't recommend this daycare to any parent seeking a safe and conducive environment for their child's growth and development.

I have a two and three year old their teachers Ms.Ashely for my son two year old is very kind and super helpful when grandma Spanish speaking picks them up. She is just perfect for those babies she helped my son with his vocabulary he truly loves her and even calls her mommy. That is such a great feeling knowing that someone else other than your family can have such an impact on your child. Mrs.Julie and Ms. Kayla have been amazing helping us with Emy and her vocabulary too but also helping us set rules for her. I appreciate everything these ladies do for our babies. They go above and beyond to care and love our little ones. Thank you Michelle and your team for giving the parents a save place for our babies ?

Idk where to begin. It was good, then it gradually declined. I really do hope things get better. Here's a couple of occurrences.*Our daughter was given the wrong diaper brand/size multiple times, which caused an allergic reaction and her urine to seep through her clothing. *She is not being thoroughly cleaned when she has a bowel movement, thus resulting in further irritation. *We were asked to bring in baby wipes. Used for only 3 days, then asked for new wipes again. Materials being used for other kids. *Everytime we picked up our daughter, she would have snot running down from her nose to her chin. We would also see other children in the room with the same situation. Hopefully their toys are cleaned and sanitized daily. *Some personnel would have short shorts/mid rift shirts, and have 1 inch nails. From our understanding they are provided "Kindercare" shirts to wear, and gloves are used during diaper changes. How can gloves be used if their nails are long?*Still charged for services when the teachers have covid, and we couldn't bring her in. *They used to send pics of our daughter doing activities (foot paintings/learning about textures/shadows etc.). What we get now is a picture of her sleeping. *The final straw was when our daughter was given someone else's food (tortillas/fishsticks/broccoli/apple slices/milk). We have everything labeled. Our daughter could've been allergic, as well as it's a choking hazard.

I would not recommend KinderCare in Grayslake to parents with children under 1. The daycare was very disorganized and it didn't seem like they were in complete control of the classroom. Teacher turnover is very high so it's hard to get consistency. They are supposed to update you on feeds, diaper changes and naps throughout the day, but the information is frequently incorrect, inputted for kids that aren't yours, or extremely delayed causing worry/stress. It doesn't feel like our child got the "immersive learning experience" they sold us and instead more time was spent just trying to keep kids under control and asking for volunteers to keep their kids home for a day when they didn't have enough teacher coverage. I would look elsewhere. Here's a few things that happened for specifics:- Another child's formula was sent home with us. I noticed when I got home and had to bring it back (they packed our cooler bags because we weren't allowed in the classroom due to covid).- Picking my daughter up, she had dried spit up all over her face, body and inside her ear. She was sticky and I showed the director immediately...that should never happen but this was a frequent occurrence.-When my daughter first started sitting, I informed the center that she just wants to sit all day (new fun skill!). When I came to pick her up I could hear her screaming her head off. I looked in the window to see her on a Boppy pillow with a toy hanging over her face like she was a newborn. She was restrained in that position and no one was attending to her. I was really upset. It wasn't age appropriate and no one even batted an eye at her crying for help. :(- After warming up my daughter's milk, they didn't screw the cap on all the way and dumped her milk all over her.- Most days when I dropped my daughter off, I stayed for a while. It is required by law that its 4:1 teacher to babies. More often than not, my daughter would be the 5th or 6th baby to enter in the morning with only one teacher in the room. Often times, the director would have to come in because the second teacher would be running late or I'd have to ask for the director to come in.- Upon picking my daughter up, they didn't even know her name. They asked me what her name was so they could update the app.- I called one day to ask if my daughter had a BM because the app hadn't been updated all day. The director went and asked the teachers and they told me she had not. Five minutes later they updated the app that she had a BM earlier in the day...stupid mistake but just caused irritation and confusion.Regardless, we're leaving our kids with strangers which is already a stressful situation. They sold us on helping them achieve developmental milestones. Our daughter is now almost walking and I've had to tell them many times to walk with her throughout the day so she could practice her new skill. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but I was on the phone with them every day that I left her there. There was no peace of mind and I was always nervous she was being abandoned, left to cry, not being fed or taken care of the way she should have been. So we pulled her a week early from summer break...we couldn't endure one more week of putting her through that. I'd recommend looking anywhere else unless they get their stuff together.

Google Michelle Scott Grayslake, and see all of the horrid reviews about her. We loved grayslake kindercare until Michelle Scott became the director. The amount of problems that began happening, as well as the amount of time, I, as well as other parents spent trying to address these issues and she just ignored our messages, or shrugged off the issues. She does not care about the children, or the staff. I watched an employee slap my infants hands when he was trying to play with a toy she was holding, and a week later my husband saw the same employee [Karrie] toss a baby onto a boppy pillow aggressively looking very overwhelmed and Michelle did nothing to help her employee or address this issue except move the employee into the toddler room. I told her I saw a baby taking dirty diapers out of the trash can and putting them in his mouth, and I said to her "Your employee might need help, there is a baby eating diapers" she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said "ew thats gross", then proceeded to close her door. My baby came home with bite marks and you know, they're babies, it happens, but I addressed it to Michelle and she told me "none of the babies have teeth, no need to lie". She is an awful person.

My son has been going to the KinderCare in Grayslake for a few months now and my husband and I are absolutely floored by the level of care of warmth all the staff have for our son. Jennie and Natalie are the best and we couldn't be happier.

We have had all three of our children enrolled at KinderCare and have absolutely loved it. The kid's days are filled with so much learning and fun! I love how the center really does feel like a family. Every teacher seems to know EVERY child, even those they haven't directly had in class! Also, it's wonderful how flexible and easy to work with the staff is. When you're juggling so much between the kids and work- it's so nice to feel they are on your side, always willing to work with you with schedules, etc. We love you, KinderCare!

My son has been at KinderCare since March, part-time. The teachers are wonderful, so caring and helpful to me when he wasn't so happy about being dropped off for the first time! He has so much fun, has new friends and the app keeps me up to date all day with pictures of what he is doing and learning.

The best daycare that my daughter has ever been in. Everyone knows who you are and it feels like one big family. They have so many activities to offer to help the children learn . The teachers and manager take great pride in making sure the children get the best and they always go above and beyond.

My Son is in the infant room for a few months now. I am very pleased with this location the only thing I wish this daycare would do is put cameras in the infant room. I have no reason not to trust anyone but for peace of mind it would be nice. I would absolutely recommend this company and specifically this location and its staff!

My family has been with Kindercare for over 12. My older son who is in high school now has exceeded in academic as a result of his early education he has received here. My younger son is in 3rd grade and has exceeded in math and has no social anxiety. This place has helped raised my children.
