Extremely unhappy with this company. I brought in a mirror frame and backing for a new mirror to be cut. Should have taken less than an hour and be $30 (I’m installing so the price should just be for the piece of mirror and the cut). They first quoted me $100! Then when I said no, they went down to $50. I didn’t hear from them for a week. I went in and no one could find my invoice. After 20 minutes they finally found my frame, missing the backing. I told them I asked them to keep the backing and I was told “oh yeah, we have it”. They never did find my invoice. They told me the piece would be cut the next day. They called me the next day saying it was cut. “Great, I’ll be right in”… I was told to come the following day bc they were closing up. Fine, I am currently in the parking lot -the following day- writing this review bc the door is locked (even though it says they are open 7-4:30) and the number they have been calling me on is going straight to voicemail. The number on the building is also going to voicemail.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The owner JR is a Crook and a liar! We put a deposit down worth quite a few thousand dollars on a skylight for a customer. After months of not hearing anything, the customer cancelled the order. We were first told the glass for the skylight had not been made, but after asking for a refund of the deposit, we were told it had been made and that we could not get a refund. They would not even give us the glass we paid for, that had apparently been made. After multiple calls and emails regarding the refund, they agreed to give us a credit to use at another time. When we tried to get a written estimate for another customer to be able to use that credit, we were given the run around, told the skylight would first be about $2-5K, then it jumped to $8-10K, then $18-20K, but JR just kept giving us the run-around and would never send us a written estimate. He would go weeks without answering emails or phone messages and was always "busy" when we called. After finally getting ahold of him one day, he kept talking in circles and still would not give a written estimate. JR is a complete joke and should not be in business. He has no respect for his customers and basically stole our $ and is refusing to even allow us to use the credit we have with them.

THEY RIP YOU OFF THEN IGNORE YOU! We ordered a skylight for a customer, and even paid quite a few thousand dollars deposit for. It took many months to hear anything about. The customer decided to cancel because it was taking so long. E-GSI refused to refund the deposit. At first saying the glass had not even been ordered yet, then changed the story and said it had been custom made and we could only get a credit, not a refund, but they refused to even give us the glass they said had been made. The owner JR is a crook and a liar! To try to use our credit, we tried to get a written estimate for another customer. The verbal estimate went from $2-5K to $8-10k, then almost $20K. After multiple emails and calls to JR trying to get a written estimate and being ignored for over a month, I finally got ahold of him on the phone and he still refused to give me an estimate. At first he said he didn't even remember who I was, which after multiple emails, phone messages, and a few conversations, how could he not remember. I think not only is he a lying crook, he is old and out of his mind. He told me that sending him an email doesn't cut it. So I asked him why he ignored me so many times, and that is not a way to treat a customer. He kept going in circles and talking nonsense. He had basically stollen our $ and is refusing to allow us to get that back through another order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

As a roofing contractor we have used E-GSI on several projects. Tom has been very helpful and responsive. The product has been excellent. Highly recommend.
