I love my new custom shades! With oversized floor to ceiling windows, I wasn’t sure I would find something. They are perfect and the electric wand makes adjusting them as simple as pressing a button! Everyone was very professional and easy to work with.

I asked the installer of my sliding door vertical panel blinds to increase the height by at least 1/2", to allow for a rug in front of the door. He refused to do so, he said he'd been hanging them for years and knew what he was doing. I curse him under my breath every time I open and close the blinds because they get caught in the rug and are already getting frayed at the bottom when they are just 1 year old. He also installed the header incorrectly and it bulges out on both sides. I ordered a small shuttered box to install over the side window on my front door, the order was delayed by several several months but no one bothered to inform me of the delay. He hung them upside-down, so when I close the blinds, you can still see through the slats, because the slot for the stick is on top. He hung all six panels of my draperies incorrectly. He hung them on the inside of the rod holder, leaving 12" of rod sticking out past the window frame. The curtains are made to frame the edge of the windows, not cover them with excess rods sticking out on each end. I had to climb up a ladder to take apart and rehang six panels. He was so abrupt, rude and in such a massive hurry, that I was too intimidated to try to speak to him while he was here, when I entered the room, he told me to let him do his job. I don't recommend this company!

Not at all recommendedThey immediately come for measurements but they don’t respond once we pay. Finally, after all follow up, they will tell you it takes 6 weeks to get the product! Aren’t they supposed to tell the customer about the timeline!? When asked why wasn’t this told while they came for measurements, they ask you back that it was in the quote and I failed to read it!!! I will edit the review about the quality IF/ONCE I get it!!!Terrible service

From my initial phone call to final installation, my experience with Budget Blinds of Grayslake was OUTSTANDING!Whenever I called the office, Megan was always friendly, upbeat, and helpful!Design consultant, Tara, was extremely knowledgeable! She patiently listened to my thoughts and ideas, looked at the family room and bedrooms, then made suggestions based on what I wanted plus her experience and expertise. Samples were up-to-date and plentiful. When Tara left my home, I was happy and completely confident that I would love everything we picked out!Installer Tony went above and beyond to make sure the shade and blinds were installed perfectly! He noticed that my family room window frame was not level and made adjustments so that the shade would look even yet work correctly. Tony was prompt, efficient, and experienced!I've told family, friends, and neighbors about Budget Blinds of Grayslake. One neighbor immediately called and ordered from them. Her experience was just as wonderful as mine was!

I contacted Budget Blinds and they were very responsive. The owner had come out to my home to measure and provide an estimate for approximately 23 2" blinds and sheer curtains. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, upon getting ready for bed that same night, I had noticed a 1" scrape on my bedroom nightstand, right below one of the windows he was measuring. As my furniture is in near-perfect condition, I know that scrape was not there beforehand and no one else had been in that bedroom. The fact that the representative did not mention he marred my furniture, removing a layer of the stain and coating, led me to believe that he is not an honest retailer and I chose to give my business to another vendor. The estimate for repair was over $100. As such, I would not recommend this vendor.

Replaced miniblinds in 4 floor to ceiling picture windows, large front door sidelight, and a bedroom window in our MCM ranch. Good quality, very reasonable price, and a custom fit delivered on time as promised.Their consultant Tara guided selecting the right product, color, and price point. Tony did a great job on installation and fit, and was very prompt and efficient. Pat the owner got personally involved backing up our purchase to ensure everything was done right.There's lots of businesses to choose from offering window treatments, from big box to specialty shops. What really set BB apart was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. There were a few glitches due to small manufacturing errors by their franchise supplier, BB stayed with it, promptly corrected, and made sure to provide a perfect fit and 100% customer satisfaction.

Budget Blinds were very through. They were prompt coming out for there Appointment time. Did not rush me. Showed me many different options available. The next day I called with questions, and their customer service department was very helpful and patient I would highly recommend them
