My family and I love everyone there! Mary has been doing my hair, my brothers hair, my moms and my grandmas hair for almost 30 years! I now get to carry on that tradition by having her cut my sons hair❤️ I highly recommend this salon!!!!

My experience was negative beyond imaginable in every way, from customer service to technical skills. I scheduled a basic hair trim with someone named Mary. I needed a basic trim with long layers. She didn’t even brush my hair and cut it in an uneven supposedly “straight “ line leaving chunks sticking out. When I was checking out and paying, she was talking to another customer she knew by name. I just left money on the counter and left. When I brushed my hair at home, I discovered very long strands of uncut hair hanging from uneven sides. A child would be able to cut a line more even. I didn’t want to leave a negative review but decided that people need to be warned. It’s been approximately 2-3 weeks since my experience and I’m still very upset about it.

This is a quaint salon with a great neighborhood, family feel. There's a new stylist at the salon, Michelle Rocco, with 30+ years of experience (she owns her own salon in Chicago). She's trying to build her clientele up in Grayslake so you should try her out! She does a great job; she's a real pro and very talented. I'm very happy with how she does my hair!! And I love the ambiance of the salon too! It's not snooty, or stuffy.
