“This is what I remember a hardware store being when I was young; helpful and customer-centric. Last year I was in there looking for something to assist me getting old fan blades off a dead motor shaft. An employee there took it in the back and made it happen. When I asked how much, he responded "nothing, just come back."

“There’s no universe where this store deserves anything less than five stars. The staff are incredible and know so much about caring for the old homes that surround it to the west. I’ve never once walked in there with a question they couldn’t help answer, even if it meant sending me to a big box store to get what I needed.Hardware stores like these are truly a gem, and I hope they continue to serve the neighborhood for generations to come.”

“Best place to get entry level tools at a very affordable price. If you're only going to use them a few times a year or a few times in a lifetime, this is the place to go. I don't know about how long they'll last or if or if there's any even issues, but I know for a fact every time I need a specialty tool or something that I don't have, I come here and buy it for usually half the price”

“What an amazing store! The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I made several trips when moving into the neighborhood and they assisted me with the smallest of items yet their inventory is massive. Not many places exist like this anymore….no wonder they has been in business (at this same location) since 1914. They are fantastic! Thank you, Todd and Joseph!”

“I came into the store today to buy my husband a grill for Father’s Day. Wasn’t sure what I was doing so I asked the two young men working in that department. Let just say how amazing they both were. They picked out everything I would need and helped me load everything. I wish I would have gotten their names. God bless them both for going above and beyond their jobs.”

“This location was packed last week for the end of April... but they had beautiful flowers and a wide assortment of mulch. I prefer to go to the smaller floral shops for actual plants, but I needed to come here for peat moss that they didn't carry elsewhere. Although it was busy the self check out went relatively quick. Overall pleased with the experience.”
