These ladies at the front absolutely go above and beyond to take care of customers. Nearly everyday for almost a year I went to that branch (because of my job), and I watched them treat each person with such kindness. They’re careful to answer questions and patiently explain things. They’re friendly, very knowledgeable and quick to suggest the best options.
I’ve lived in multiple states and many towns/cities, and this branch is by far the most friendly & helpful.

I just returned from the Godfrey post office. I went there because I had mailed an important package and through tracking I was able to see that it was stuck in St. Louis. When I arrived, the young lady at the desk immediately noticed that I was upset (though I had not said a word) and kindly asked if there was a problem. After briefly describing my issue, she set to work and within minutes was able to tell me that my package had been scanned and should be delivered early next week. She was exceptionally responsive to my concerns and very helpful. Considering all of the mail that passes through the post office, I have had very few problems -- it's nice to know that when there is a problem, there is someone who is empathic.

Helped us out last minute for passport processing when our appointment at another location was canceled. Very patient & understanding to double check our paperwork & willingly took multiple photos to get the right ones. This location is an asset for the agency.

Your delivery to 15### lageman rd on Saturday at 140 pm 1/27/24 shipped with you guys through Amazon. Your carrier said drive blocked and door . This was not true as looked at cam and she put mail in box but was raining why didn't drop package.If can't do the job then don't take the job. Tool was sent priority for a job due done today but cause of your carrier that was dropped.

Not only is this location full of thieves, but they also have strange practices. Two previous tenants still get mail to my place, so I leave their mail in the box. Instead of flagging the two tenants, they just flagged that no one lives here at all, so I haven't been getting mail properly for months. Do an entire reset of the staff, because clearly the ones you have aren't cutting it.

Mail delivery times vary. From 8 am to 6 pm. No consistency whatsoever. I have informed delivery on usps, telling me I have mail scheduled to be delivered and it does not show up.

Yep, I am rating a USPS 5 Stars and this small town post office deserves it.I've lived in Godfrey for three years now and I have seen vast improvement in the staffing and customer service at this location. Rarely do I see a line here, but I do, the staff knows how to hustle and get everyones needs taken care of quickly. Best of all, they do politely without any negative attitudes.While most are complaining about the USPS, I give this one two thumbs up.

The manager at this location is the WORST! This building doesn’t belong to the manager it’s belongs to the taxpayers. I have been here twice now. My first/ last time.

My package is more than TEN DAYS late. The last tracking update is from the previous month. This usps and others have consistently failed at their job at the most basic level. Its evident to me that nobody really cares at usps and they dont want to work there. But what you dont do is upset a patient person and ive been very lenient so far. Dont ever use usps if you want your packages on time, hell, if you want your packages at all. Dont come here. Dont use this garbage service.
