I did not have a great experience using Freer as the auto body shop for my accident claim. It took 4.5 months from the initial claim to even get in to get it fixed (not their fault, they were upfront about it). When I dropped it off they originally told me a week. At the end of the first week (Friday) their automated text “tracking system” updated to the next week. I called and asked what was going on. They said they headlight was broken and so they ordered a new one and it would probably be done the following Tuesday. No worries there. Tuesday afternoon rolls around and no call - so I call again…it looks like it will be Thursday. Okay, no problem - just let me know. Thursday afternoon rolls around, still no call. I call up there again, we hope to have it done tomorrow but not guarantees. They ended up calling me Friday right before they closed saying it was done. I went up there to pay and pick it up and I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot when I noticed the drivers side headlight they installed did not work. Tim came out and said he had just inspected it and ran codes and nothing came up. He printed out the codes and showed me and it clearly shows there was a fault code for the headlight (I still have the paperwork). He promised to fix it so I thought okay, mistakes happen - no problem. I took the car home with me while they ordered the new light only to discover that my wheels that had just been powder coded had this white haze on them. They almost looked etched from a chemical cleaner that had dried on them from washing the car. . So again I call up there Monday morning. Tim was annoyed that I brought it to his attention and said they only use soap on the cars to wash them but said he would look at them. That’s fine, but these wheels were just done and they didn’t look like that when I brought my car in two weeks prior. I bring it back in and ask how long it would take and Tim brushed the wheel situation off and said “I don’t know, the wheels are what will take the longest.” So clearly Tim doesn’t want to take responsibility for the fact that something happened to my wheels during the time I dropped the car off to Freer. They made an attempt to polish them but they are still etched and I will have to get them re-powder coated per the guy that originally did them which is extremely frustrating. Now, I’m noticing that the clear coat on the hood they reshot is bubbling in multiple spots. This was far from the experience I expected from a local, family business that is well respected in the community. Everyone was pleasant to deal with outside of Tim.Services: Painting

Freer seemed to genuinely appreciate my business, which I appreciate. When I picked up my car tonight they had cleaned the inside of my car it seemed as well and had a rose and a handwritten thank you note in my passenger seat. My car was done before the quoted time. They were all nice and genuine. I would use them again, thanks Freer!Service: Painting

A family member recently had their car repaired at Freer Auto Body. The repair process started and was completed when they said it would be. The vehicle looked great when we picked up ! If we are in need of future auto body work, we will definitely use Freer.

Freer has always been a premier auto body repair business. Their staff is friendly and courteous. Dusty prepared my estimate in a timely manner. Very satisfied.

I think they are ridiculously outdated with payment. They don't take debit cards because they don't want to deal with fees and they have been in business for 32 yrs. Yes they fix cars and handle insurance companies great. But get with the times $500 in pocket and ATM don't give it. Ridiculous get wise you would get your money faster with cards.people don't just have it work 12hr shifts medical and 7 days FedEx driver live in different location.

We have used Freer numerous times and they are the only ones we trust with our vehicles! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable which makes an already stressful situation a little easier to deal with. I personally love the rose each time we have been to pick up a vehicle - very unique touch. I recommend them 100%, even if you have to wait a little longer to get in. That’s just because they are so good!

I recently had an unpleasant experience at Freer Auto body. Took my car in for a repair and while I was there had them look at paint that was bubbled on my rocker panel on the driver side. This has been repaired and replaced by Freer on two separate occasions due to accidents. I felt Tim was very rude and condescending and seemed to be hyper focused on an area that has a split and not the bubbling that is on the paint. He said I must have hit something to cause that and I said no I have not hit anything and anyway what's that have to do with the paint bubbling. He seemed to ignore that question and then proceeded to tell me that the bubbling paint is not covered by the lifetime limited warranty. And to have it repaired I would have to pay $1500 to have it done. I definitely do not appreciate someone telling me that I must have done something and it was repeated to me several times and I denied each time because that never happened. Do not appreciate basically being called a liar. This is the first time I've ever had a totally negative experience with Freer and the first time I've ever dealt with Tim. So not sure if that's the problem. As I said if it's not covered with their warranty fine that's the way it goes but do not accuse me of doing something that has nothing to do with the issue in this case, the paint that is bubbled on my rocker panel. I guarantee the paint that is bubbled has nothing to do with anything except the repair work they did in the past

Hubby's car took on a coyote and lost... Big time lost. That's what landed us at Freer Auto Body. We left the car there while we went on vacation. My husband was very happy to be receiving updates from Freer as they began and completed the necessary repairs. After returning home, we went to pick up the car. Unfortunately, there was a repair that was missed... To be truthful, it was an honest oversight as the coyote removed a piece from under the vehicle that Freer techs didn't even know was missing - I have learned that not all cars like his has this particular piece. As soon as my husband mentioned it to the wonderful folks in the office, there were 4 people who immediately stopped what they were doing to see how soon they could complete the final repair. As luck would have it, the part was located, ordered, delivered, and attached before closing that very same day.WOW!! What service! Not a problem for us, but they kept apologizing... It was an honest mistake??♀️....So, I dropped off hubs to pick up his car before they closed. He's still literally walking on cloud 9 because the thing looks brand new. The repairs are spot on! Amazing! The workmanship that Freer Auto Body is TOP NOTCH!Not to mention that you are truly treated like royalty in every contact with them. They went above and beyond to make these repairs with perfection. We've used them before when unfortunate events have found us and we will use them again. There's no place that compares!

I missed judged my spacing when exiting a driveway and dropped down into a culvert/ditch. When I got out to see if there was any damage, I was shocked to see what I had done. Lucky for me, I have insurance and Freer is in my hometown. When I made a claim with my insurance agent, she told me that Freer was one of the repair shops that was highly approved by my insurer. From the time I took my Rav4 in for an estimate to the final work, I was totally impressed with the customer service and professionalism of the entire staff. On the day I dropped my SUV off to begin the work, they gave me a time frame for when it would be completed. When they started work, the found some additional damage underneath and called to let me know they'd need an extra day. I also, received periodic text messages keeping me up to date of the progress. When all the work was completed, I was notified and they reminded me they do not take debit or credit cards. They are strictly cash or check only. Good thing I keep a book of checks on hand, I rarely write one anymore. To my surprise, when I picked my Rav4 up, they had washed and vacuumed the inside. What a nice touch. Since I had the body damage, I couldn't go through a car wash and Reggie (my name for my Rav4) was in serious need of a bath. The ladies who work the front desk, deserve a big shout out, too. They are friendly, charming, helpful and professional. When I paid my at check-out, I was handed a detailed statement, a thank-you card in cursive writing and a long stemmed rose. That is a nice touch.I hope you never need auto body work done on your ride, but if you do, I highly recommend, Freer Auto Body.

i had been rear ended and was recommended to Freer and I’m so happy I went with them. While waiting about a week for my appt, someone on the highway kicked up a chunk of debris and did damage to my fender (couldn’t catch a break!). Freer was able to do both jobs at the same time and prevented additional stress on an already stressful situation. They took amazing care of me and kept me up to date with text updates. My vehicle was ready a day ahead of schedule and to my surprise, it was vacuumed out and washed. Thank you Freer for a top notch job!

Freer is amazing! My dent in the bumper was fixed in a day. They stayed an extra few minutes until I got off work to pick my car up. My car was completely detailed, cleaned inside and outside. I opened the car door to find a nice thank you note and a beautiful rose. They went above and beyond and did it with kindness. Thank you so much!!!Service: Body & Trim
