12050 S Pulaski Rd, Alsip“I used to think they weren't great but now some of your basics -you pay more the half less than jewel or food 4 less & guess what? In most cases now is much better quality!”
8:30AM - 8PM
795 Deer Creek Dr, Schererville“Happened to be visiting someone in Crown Point. This was the closest Aldi to Crown Point on our way back to Chicago. The Spring 2024 apparel line had dropped earlier in the week and I was concerned that all the merchandise would be gone in the city. Begged my husband to give me 5 minutes at this location. He was amazed at all the crap I came out with and slightly disgusted. Lol. Anyhoo Aldi makes my grocery shopping so easy so...I wanna rep them for jokes. Aldi haul included: hat, two tumblers (love them), joggers, windbreaker, socks, key chain (holds a quarter for carts) and fanny pack. Oh plus I got my dog a Aldi hoodie. Only spent $65 bucks. Not bad at all. I regret not getting the Aldi shoes Anyway this store was super clean, plenty of parking. They had self check-out and regular checkout. Additionally plenty of boxes available to put your items in. Staff was friendly and the locals were slightly tickled by all the Aldi crap that I swooped up.”
“Aldi's is a hidden gem within the grocery industry. They provide an array of imported cheeses, olives, and organic items. Their meats are of high quality and reasonably priced.”
8:30AM - 8PM
4415 Calumet Ave, Hammond“Aldi's still good for eggs and milk a lot of things that are still better than other stores, price wise, but it seems they're catching up to the rest of the world hopefully they still look out for the poor and keep their prices down.”
9AM - 8PM
1051 E 162nd St, South Holland“Still the best deal in town. Unlike Stracks et al, they don't price gouge. They also don't try to pawn off the "half loaf" of bread for the price of a full loaf. Keep up the good work ? ? ?”
8:30AM - 8PM
3602 Ridge Rd, Lansing“As stated some years ago, this Aldi's is the cleanest, neatest and most organized Aldi's I have ever been in. I am so grateful that it is located in my city!”
“Don't expect a lot of brand names. Most of the products are private Aldi label. Good prices clean store. I like it because you don't have to walk miles and miles up and down aisles it's a much more manageable sitting. Be sure to bring a quarter to unlock the self returnable shopping carts and also bring your own bag they do not supply them unless you want to pay $0.05 for a bag at the counter. But it's better to recycle your own bag.”
8:30AM - 8PM
6518 Columbia Ave, Hammond“This is my go to stock up store... always clean, well lite, and well stocked.. customer service is always top notch.. they take time to help you with great friendly service”
9AM - 8PM
527 W 14th St, Chicago Heights“The store was cleaned and well stocked. And Calvin, my cashier was fast but also engaged and nice! Great to see them getting more of the new limited edition items in. If I had one gripe, which has nothing to do with the store itself but more, the distributor is that I wish they had more of a selection for pets , i.e. different brands of cat food even just Purina. Because unfortunately, my cat does not like the food that all the offers.?”
8:30AM - 8PM
9921 Earl Dr, St John“There's a handful of great employees at this store! I don't know names but there are two blonde ladies that are usually up by the cash register when I shop. They are so incredibly nice, very hard working, and so patient! Always a pleasure to see them when I shop. There's a couple more employees that are awesome too! Thank you for your hard work! Clean store too! Props to the manager for running a solid store.”
“We shop there every 3 weeks. Not a complete place for everything. Great prices, we bring our own bags . They carry some imported productsand some brand names. Preserves from Belgium, German chocolate candy, etc. We like saving a few bucks because of the interesting selections .”
“Clean, friendly farm stand with accessible parking. I came for veggies, I found a good selection just hoped for a little more variety. Big John's has a beautiful selection of flowers. I will definitely be back.”
“unreal huge market ! bargains are few ..but great selection. lots of buffet style food ....but at $10.99 a lb ...they gotta be nuts ! some of it is worth it ....anyway , its all worth a look !”
“Very Nice store very clean a little pricey but that's to be expected in these times, my only concern is I wish they would cater more to the African American culture as well with more products”
9AM - 8PM
4820 Cal Sag Rd, Crestwood“I was just there for my 62nd birthday and I invited invited my friends and family to celebrate it with me and they all enjoy and love this place. They said the food was excellent but the drinks was a little pricey but everything else the atmosphere the waitress everybody was amazing and they made my birthday very special and thank you chug-a-lug for allowing me to have my birthday party there.”
“I love this market! Fresh meats and great prices. I have to say the only complaint is that their weekly ads on their website are put up entirely too late or they don't put it up at all. So basically, you have to drive all the way out there just to find out what the sales are.”
9AM - 8PM
14529 S Western Ave, Dixmoor“They underwent construction earlier on in the year. The bread placement has changed to the beginning of the store, as well as the fruits and veggies. They added an extra freezer aisle. I believe there is more products then there used to be.”
9AM - 8PM
1490 Torrence Ave, Calumet City“The manager here deserves all good incentives. One can feel his positive energy, & his desire to keep the store beyond up to par. Some of the customers are ignorant, even senior citizens, but we look over every one of them. The goal for me is to attain food, & go home.”
“Large stores and a great selection are only two reasons why I like shopping here. I also like that they carry a selection of items from other cultures. They are located just a minute or two from public transportation and have plenty of parking.”
“So glad I found Joe's! Very friendly staff...Clean store...Great produce...Delicious house made chorizo, salsa, and guacamole plus carnitas on the weekend. Highly recommend!”
9AM - 8PM
4250 167th St, Oak Forest“Like any Aldi but it seems smaller...they just opened on Dec.7th...today is Dec.11th and some of the fresh produce of covered in white fuzzy mold. With the lack of casiers, they should be monitoring things like that”
“Get all your fresh produce here. I always get boxes of red ball peppers here every September to last through the winter months and stock them in my freezer. A box goes for $35.”
“I love the new look and set up of products. Their prices are still reasonable and on point. The aisles are wider and easier to navigate. There handicap parking spaces are sufficient. The only thing they lack are electrical rolling carts with baskets for people with disabilities. They had one cart stuffed deep in a corner, surrounded by boxes. It was not accessible for use. I don't know if this was due to the fact that it didn't work. If that is the case, I hope that it is quickly rectified and two more are added.”
“The week that I was there, they had nice thick t-bone steaks for $3.99 per lb which is not heard of. Many meat items had very good sale price. Everything looked fresh, however, there was a slight odor. Wear a heavy coat, as it very cold, on purpose.”
9AM - 8PM
821 W 115th St, Chicago“It's nice and convenient cause it's in walking distance but my only hang up is there's never no carts, I remember the first time I went there, there were carts every were I go back the next month and to my surprise no carts and the store was not packed at all, So work on that please”
7AM - 9PM
1968 Sibley Blvd, Calumet City“Prices are appropriate (and an app is available). The only portion of the stock that I found was slightly higher than I am used to was the sodas, and if you time out what deals are available on a given week, you probably won't notice this significantly.Selection of produce is clean, well stocked and the temperatures in the cooler are exactly where they're supposed to be. Similarly, when I visited the meat sections, the cuts were all fresh, properly sliced, properly sealed and the coolers were at and below the needed temperature. As a former butcher's assistant, I am aggressively picky about my meat departments and will refuse to shop in grocers where I find these lacking. I found nothing inappropriate about what I saw here, and the prices are what I expect in 2024.Overall, the selection of goods is much larger than I expected in a local grocer, which was a pleasant surprise. It is larger than I'm accustomed to in Detroit and there's plenty here to choose from. If you're going to shop here, get the app and use that to keep abreast of current prices/deals.Please keep in mind, however, that the pharmacy is a little thin, so this is not a first choice for medications.”
“Prices are very reasonable. The only problem? They always have "Vendors". Selling items out of the trunks of their Cars or in back of their Vans. These Vendors are taking up parking spaces ? They set up Tents to sell their items in the summer. Their customers "Hold up Traffic". It is hard to find a parking space (Especially) For the "Family Dollar" customers. (My question is?) Why don't these Vendors move their items to the back of the parking lot? Their customers would be able to park and shop back there; Without disturbing customers who are not interested in buying the items.”
“Nice little market in Whiting. Easy to find, ample parking lot. Didnt try the hot food but got the tamales from the cooler. Delicious homemade. Got 1 dozen pork, 1 dozen chicken. Awesome, especially when you dont have to wait for the weekend to get them. I LOVE the pork tamales”
“My favorite store when on a budget. Finally fresh vegetables fruits. Plus deal i got butter for 2.99 limit six cooking for holidays limits 6. Eggs milk reasonable so money was low a got a lot. For my money.”
